  1. I think that the main reason of the decreasing sales of CMx1 is the nations involved and the theatre of operations. This game, sold about a 80% in north america, where Normandy are the most famous theatre of WW2 (at least in Europe war). And, the same in western Europe. The eastern theatre, in Europe has good fame, but no in america, probably because the war was between Germany and USSR, and maybe because here we does not hate the communism as much as there. Finally, the desert war and Italy, not has the same flavour than the oters anywhere (well, maybe in Italy ). However, also it is certain that CMSF does not interest much in Europe. This remember much Irak, and here most people hate this war. I know which did not play CMSF because this reason.... And, of course, the lack of graphics improvement in Cmx1 series affect too much to their sales. Other games conserves the same concept, the same playability, but best graphics, and their sales are very good.
  2. The problem is not the 1:1 representation, the true problem is that it does not work properly so far. The question is: When?, how long we have to wait for the TRUE 1.0 of CMSF?
  3. sincerely, I´am very surprised with these posts. All, repeat, all the advantages of the real time system are know...from Dune and other games, more than 10 years ago. And, in tactical games, the Total War saga it´s one good example,their first game, Shogun, dates from year 2000, 7 years ago, !wops!, like CMBO. And, is NOW, when BF decides to do CMSF with this system, when most fans of Combat Mission discover the real time. But, ironically, one year ago, almost all, or maybe all, prefer the wego turn system.
  4. Yes, I see it, but, for example, I don´t know range of lot of weapons. In CMx1, you can see that a panzershreck has a range of 225m, but in CMx2, I don´t have no idea when my RPG can shoot or when not.... The interface should be improved.
  5. Hi everybody, first of all, sorry for my english, I not speak it very well. I have a question, the panel info that appears when we press "enter" in CMx1 series, still remain in CMSF? I play the demo and I don´t see it. If has been removed, where I can see info about armor, range and other things about weapons? It´s very important!!! About my suggestion for a wego system on TCP/IP, it´s basically the same that I can read fewer days ago, introducing a pause every certain time, but, as in fact it is real time, this time maybe sould be edited by the players when they created the game. 60 seconds in WW2 can be good, but in modern war..... And another thing, is that we don´t have replay in this wego system. It´s possible save every nanosecond in the local machine, like a PBEM file, but this file is read by the same machine. With this method, it´s possible have replay in TCP/IP? I hope that my english is understood
