  1. sorry another question. Is there a way to limit what units are available to a side and what numbers are available?.
  2. Nice document. very clear. One omission though is any info about actually placing facilities , buildings and trees. Are we free to use the standard textures, plants skyboxes from existing scenarios in our own scenarios?.
  3. what about in the ctrl-m view changing the colour of the cross-hairs depending on whether it require He-H or He-L to hit that point. ( could maybe do it to the standard aiming point reticle too?.

    A suggestion

It would be really nice if you could arrange individual units on your team into groups and be able to give them an order as a group ( section, platoon, squad whichever you like to call them ). That way you could give multiple units a single drop and movement commands.
  5. So why does it stop firing completely when one ammo type reaches 0?.
  6. Gday, In the thor mortar you have 2 types of ammo (he/h and HE/l) It appears that you run out of ammo when one of these reaches 0. this is odd. During the demo i thought you had 10 shots then it ran out of both. But I managed to get down to 3 0 before running out in the full version... Bug or Feature???

  8. Thanks for the quick reply... Can't wait to get editing. What I thought could be nice for a mini campaign would be a number (lets say 5 for the sake of argument) of maps which are linked. This could be physically like a long strip of land or "spiritually" like a series of planets / moons. Play starts in the Middle map with each side "owning" 2 of the other maps. If one side wins then the map is theirs. If they only win by a small margin then the next mission starts on the same map with them defending and the other team counter-attacking. If the win was by a large margin then the action could start on the next map with the victor attacking into territory defended by the defeated side. Play over 5 missions and see who owns the most "maps". Throw in some attrition and reinforcements and it could be a lot of fun. Oh and how about a Thor ARV. A bit like the cutter but it can go and interface with crippled vehicles (of either side) and tow them back for recovery. Dark
  9. Gday Guys, I'm now the proud owner of a full copy. Thank you to the team for a great job. There is however a desperate need for more objective based maps and missions. Is there any eta on when we can expect tools or info on this so we can start making new stuff. I've got some tools i made for map creation in another game which could easily be used for DT maps. Even done things for automated vegetation, Fractal landscape generators, Satelite image to terrain file convertions etc etc. Q. Is the team willing to think about other mission types and maybe online mini campaign systems? Dark
  10. Gday, Been playing the Demo and am seriously interested in buying this game. I have a couple of questions though maybe someone here can answer. 1. Is there any way to make your own maps, missions / scenarios. Looking at the scenario file it would seem easy to make those as they are just scripts. The Heightmap .raw files appear to be compressed in some way though. 2. This game isn't suddenly going to become pay to play is it?. 3. Is there a dedicated server software Thanks
