  1. ok I prefer realism as well, so we should think about a new unit, lightly armoured or not at all, for ammo resupply; a WWII tank probably on average was carring around 30/40 cases; if we want big maps to drive back to resupply, given that one survives enough to fire all ammo, is not really an option; fixed ammo crates are a possible alternative but won't enhance team play.

    what do you think?

  2. like in the best BF maps I would like to propose an exclusion zone around each team major spaw to allow deployment without sloughter even when outnumbered on the field

conquerable spaw points are better to me: they simulate the end point of a supply line but offer some kind of direction for the enemy attack, better if the maps are pushing mode (spawn point have to be conquered in an ordered fashion)

infantry: actually the discussion shiuld be refined when their actually carachteristics will be known but what about para? just a matter to change the flight profile of the DS (dont' know how easy this will be) to simulate a plane or a glider

Quite some work for him to do but imagine the resulting gameplay!

it's soundy poesel but is gonna work only if all the players are really playing to achieve the objective (seeing the greater good and the fun of acting like a squad), yesterday night somebody was camping 20 feet from my flag, I got killed 7 or 8 times but I got their flag twice; what would you get from such a player even in a massive deployment?

oh btw the real power of a command vehicle coupled to a viper haven't really been explored yet, when the beta was running I remeber breat actions done by a duo team with a viper and a ground unit

Aittam, they're inside of the DropTeam app bundle. Right click on the DropTeam icon in Finder and select "Show Contents". A new Finder window will open. Navigate down to Contents then Resources then at last you will see the Holy data folder of which everyone here speaks. Drop scenarios, etc. into that folder.

    Was suspecting it, cheers!

I'd look for the original scenario files, e.g. Archipelago.scenario

Then place it in the same folder.

That's all I can say, I'm using the Windows version.

Yep that's what I usually do but I can't find them
  6. I did some thinking (rare) and I realized that all WWII games use fixed spawn point (ok some BF map have mobile ones)

So back to the idea mentioned on the sensor post by Yurch, what about to introduce spawn point with a very limited radius along the maps that need to be conquered in order to be used, simulatin a renforcement following an advancing army?

  7. doesn't really matter, in mp most of the time we specify not to get the final kill, just waste of ammo, if he/it decide to scuttle (the booots will after 30") anyways it's lost vehicle from the arsenal, if the human player try to extract you can kill the DS, that's why it's just better to kill the gun and may be block the wheels/tracks

Ok this is the real problem, how do we overcame it?

    Ideas:

    1) fixed spawn/drop point; that's the entry point/s of each team; problem --> reduction of capacity manouver capability
