yeah hes talking about the PERI/CITV, wich only the M1A2 variants has and son the T-90.
But I dont understand what he means with "advantage for syria" ?
Ok hunter/killer capacaty is nice as hell but I cant see how we can have any use of it since we cant crew the vehicles?
-
What is "ragtag" ? I cant find anything intresting on google....
-
My vote to!
could be 5,10,15 and then it goes back to normal 15-30-45sec.

No we dont, we only re-skin, you cant mod the vehicles specs... thats totally Esimgames side, Deja is learning me how to do 3D models for SBP but thats different from modd the vehicles.Originally posted by markh:Finally, there is a very active modding community that not only seems to re-skin vehicles, they are busy modding vehicles specs.

nice to see im not the only one being retarded, I couldnt figure out wich was attached to the cats and wich wasntOriginally posted by handihoc:That rapidshare download site is insane! First I had to wait for over a minute, then enter some preposterous code of stupid symbols 'attached to a cat'!!
Huh?
The symbols were so obscure that I couldn't make out which were effing bleeding cats and which weren't. I gave up after the third attempt.
What a load of b******ks.

APFSDS - Armor Piercing FinStabilized Discarging Sabot.
its a tungsten rod (or depleted uranium in most US munitions) thats like 2.5cm thick and 50cm tall (or something close to it cant remember) and use Kinetic Energy to break thrue the heavy armor of enemy tanks.
a poorly armed BMP it can go right thrue without ewen bother to stop or do anything.
If the BMP have hatches open (to vent overpressure) and no vital parts are behind the penetration point it can survice withoutproblem, but if there is any vital behind the penetration points its bloody doomed.
when engaging BMP HEAT is prefered, sabot arent worth to engage with.

another feature i miss, I vote to!

same goes for sideways, when a tank turns the turret doesnt stay on target, but rotates along with the hull (staying at 2 o clock all the way) and first when the tank stops turning the turret reverse back to target, wich can be some faital seconds.

works fine for me anyway, hope we get some Irishmen in as well (to add to the fun of the voices )
what im looking forward the most with the Marine module is the Shoulder-launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon actually, sofar when playing US ive missed something direct HE to fire into buildings like the M2 Carl gustav im trained on in the swedish army. so getting something equal gonna be nice
-
I want the marine module now so the british module is a bit closer!
I want to hear my troops saying "alright chaps!"

I just started playing Syria Vs USA, its fun but hard as hell, and im a noob at it so I get my asses kicked
-
hi!
just finished this fun scenario but I got a failure on destroying the infantry post when the game ended.
Despite that I had 2 MGS strykers and a HQ unit sitting ontop of the outpost?
what do you have to do to have it "destroyed" ?
on another note, it was fun as hell to have US CONSCRIPTS to play with!
but they are darn stupid, out of 7 javelins fired NONE hit their targets

I wouldnt mind this feature, had the problem myself a few times. Feels kinda stupid when you have one intact vehicle and 2 crews that can man it.
-
Its a Panzer IV
and its not a rusty drum, its the exhaust.
-
for a swedish tank coy its:
on attack: 1km for one Coy
Defence: 1km for one platoon
so the ones for WWII seems fairly accurate.
-
agreed, me like!

mmmm... flares..... mmm....

I dont know, CM: Normandy sounds just fine. A bit lame indeed but atleast you know what time era you get just from that lone word.
Maybe CM:Shock Normandy? XD
-
go get Steelbeasts Pro PE... there the tanks hits the F'cking trees anytime and gives you crew casualtys, after a few runs your happy you dont have that in CMSF
Will we ever get periscopes on tanks?
in Combat Mission Shock Force 1

I dont know how it works in the dessert, but here in woody sweden we are teached (and practice) to have the tank turret down and the TC standing on the turret roof with binos, still attached with hes helmet scanning for enemys, so only thing aproaching enemy see is a head, wich isnt THAT big on average engagement distances compared to parts of a tank.
but dont know how that works in the desert thoe.
