  1. NYT article on Prig and their own perspective. Not sure if paywalled one area of interest is other bits of Prig’s financial empire that were being undermined specifically his catering business to the Russian army https://www.nytimes.com/2023/06/27/world/europe/prigozhin-wagner-russia-putin.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare
  2. One more reason to declare Russia a terrorist state.
  3. terrain up north is terrible. A second front there is an even worse waste of RAs limited resources.
  4. what a difference a day makes. I can actually keep up with this thread today..
  5. This was my favorite line " the strengthening of crime, primarily criminal ethnic groups from migrants" Umm your primary criminal ethnic group is your freakin gov't.
  6. so I am struggling to understand what the Wagner troops got out of this. The revolt was partly about MoD forcing PMCs to sign contracts and what they got out of the deal is contracts. So they risked everything to get what they already had? This stinks worse than the pot the kids smoke these days.
  7. perhaps. Maybe even Prig was shocked at how weak Moscow turned out to be. it is as believable as anything else right now.
  8. I can't see this thing being staged. Not when your army is facing a counter offensive and is already on the ropes.. but then this is Russia. I have to stop trying to make this rational.
  9. Ukraine needs to make hay with this to drive the wedge deeper. Humiliate Putin. Contrast Zelensky staying versus Putin running. Start a whole bunch of memes Who is faster Putin or Zelensky? Putin, Zelensky doesn't run.
  10. man I am out of reactions for today! This even beats the Dallas dream plot.
  11. it is all still a big win for Ukraine. Russian forces are in disarray and the infighting is only going to get worse. I expect Putin is going to want another purge of anyone associated to Wagner. Morale for troops on the frontline has got to have gotten worse and once it is clear that even if Shoigu and Gerasimov aren't in charge, the RA still doesn't have a plan, what then? Also the fact that Wagner could move around pretty much at will has got to have Putin freaked, so what does he do now to try and secure his position? And what of the Wagner troops, really think this was the plan all along? What happens to them now?
  12. Makes sense, Russian C&C has to be a mess right now and if true that VDV and other folks are pulling out, what is left in the way of a reserve?
  13. I confess to appropriating it from my neighbor.
  14. Putin: "I don't need ammo, I need a ride"
  15. lol yeah but one can hope! in fake breaking news: President Xi has ordered Chinese forces to occupy Siberia to protect Chinese citizens and is calling for a referendum. Meanwhile Japanese forces have liberated the Kuriles.
  16. Russia is on the verge of total disintegration, as local elites scramble for an escape (yahoo.com)
  17. wouldn't this be a great time to drop the Kerch bridge... just sayin
  18. he certainly has enough. I would think Rostov would have some decent air defenses. And it isn't like Ukraine has them to spare though one would hope the Russian army is too busy to continue it's air actions against Ukraine.
  19. Whatever Prig says about not interfering with the war effort is BS, you can bet the MoD is busily stopping any war material going into Rostov to prevent Prig from possibly grabbing it. The supply situation just got a lot worse for the Russian troops in Ukraine.
  20. wait a minute.... Really? The NATC? Pronounced NATCee....
  21. what's that saying... The Chickens have come home to roost?
