Thanks for posting but the gui texture is in tga format in the texture folders which is why it was easy to adjust the GUI, which I have myself modified for my own purposes ( I will release them later ). In order to extract skins for vehicles or buildings I need to extract the datapack.cd which is where they are stored as I can not find them any where else.I have no idea how to extract it and no one who made this game wants to extend it's life through allowing us to mod it I guess. I wanted to make some un (united nations) skins, winter skins and various other styles of skins as well as adjust textures of trees and ground and also buildings such as winter look etc for people who are making winter maps, as you can tell it what textures to use. I mean they allow us to make custom buildings and maps/scenarios so why not allow us to adjust the textures of the game ? I think the devs should release a tool to extract the datapack.cd like they do for games who use pak files where you can load the pak and extract what you want from the pack file. I would assume by placing the new textures into the texture folder that it would over ride the datapack.cd textures use but maybe that would be to convenient ?. The faster I can get into the textures the faster I can get started modding. As always, any help greatly appreciated.

  2. no prob I don't know why the grass makes your fps drop so much but it does. Even with grass at low textures, any distance over 80 for view can be a lag fest. I have a Radeon 9600 128 meg ddr myself. I also find that turning on dust in the options will slow frame rates as well but then again I play the game at lcd quality 1280 x 1024 x 32 bit x 75 hertz.

  3. I could do snow ground textures and winter tree/building textures etc quite easily as a winter mod I just need to know where to get the textures. I asked how to extract the datapack.cd but no one has answered this yet as I wanted to also do new skins for vehicles of which snow skins wouldn't be too hard to do either.

  4. Hey thanks. I tried the campaign but I am noticing that the AI enemy opponent is extremely good at 800 meter plus 1 (first) shot kills rofl. This is a tank sim but I am getting way too many 1 shot deaths to my front armor of all things where as my own ai gunner sucks hard in comparrison to the enemy ai gunners. I mean my AI gunner has a 40 shot to 1 kill ratio...pretty freaking bad shot if you ask me. I think my AI crew needs a hell of alot more training or the game needs some balance fixes. Either way it's annoying thus far.
