unsobill, you are wrong. 1 AK type rifle per household per adult aged male. That is the rule. Now, to have a weapon in your car or out in public, you have to be licensed by the ministry of interior. If you are out in public with it with out a license then the weapon is confiscated and sometimes you are detained.

You should not comment about things which you have no knowledge of, whatsoever.

maybe i shouldnt speak of the "things i have no knowledge of" but i'm learning and willing to look like an idiot if i learn something, </font>

    Capt. Toleran,

The tire on the turret indicates advanced engineering. In case of a roll over, the pnuematically pressurized tire aids in a "bounce" to help upright the vehicle. Should that fail, and the vehicle remain inverted, the tire is used to extricate the vehicle from the line of fire. This is accomplished by, while balanced upside-down on the turret, having the gunner quickly rotate the turret either clockwise or counterclockwise (depending on the threat direction) and wheeling the vehicle away. It doesn't quite roll, manuevering more in a siderwinder style, but still able to sidle back behind terrain.

    Does that help?

Does CMSF model this? (if it's true) </font>
  6. i hate when people like you go on to have their long, useless, unjustifiable rants. Calm yourself, because as far as i see it, the Israeli-palestinian conflict is just about as justifiable as god. There is no measure for who has suffered more pain or who is truly righteous, and even if there was, no one has every record of every crime of Palestinians against Israelis or vice versa.

don't bring your political bullsh*t here.

  7. two different sides have their own distinct advantages, so it is assymetrical, but balanced, as in a game like Starcraft, where everyone had their own special little abilities, but it ended out to be a very balanced game.

while the US has superior training, more and better hi-tech equipment, and air/artillery support, the Syrians have home court advantage (defending urban area=General's wet dream), Unconventional warfighters, like religious extremists, AL-Qaida, terrorists, and old government loyalists and sympathizers, spies, IEDS, VBIEDs. Trust me, with these new assymetrical forces, it will no longer be "my tanks shoot your tanks and then i ride into your capital type wars, of course they can be an option, but you can simulate numerous other things like occupations, etc.

  8. i think BFC already confirmed, grenadiers get M4 w/ aimpoint scope and M203A1, regular riflemen get an M4 with Aimpoint, maybe squad leader gets something different. Regardless, you won't see the variation you see on GIs in Iraq, with all sorts of crap like flashlights, fancy scopes (some like Aimpoints, some ACOGs, Elcan, EoTech, etc) double clip holders, stock magazine carrier, camo paintings, whatever.

one thing that i was wondering about is that in the Unit interface when you have, say, a squad selected, it shows the riflemen as having an M4 with an Aimpoint AND a vertical foregrip, but in the screenies of the actual US infantry, none of them have the vertical foregrips. Explain plz?

i think it would be nice for the soldiers to have the foregrips, it seems like most soldiers have them nowadays.
