Stoat, your mailbox is full, and my turn bounced. I am very disappointed in you. I will have to talk to your Liege, if we ever actually find out whom that might be....
As for the rest of you, I curse you, with all your mouthwatering delicacies, I curse you from the very pits of hell.
Rune is apparently too busy with CMSF to answer his emails. That is unseemly...
Boo Radley, I blame you.
I have the broad shoulders of an Ohioan and make fun of your weak, lethargic, dairy clogged antagonisms!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
So there. </font>

My personal favorite squad-level support weapon is the HK 21E/23E series. Comes in 7.62mm and 5.56mm. HK build quality in a M60 or M249 like platform. I've never fired one, but I've heard really good things. Then again, I'm pretty much a full-time HK cheerleader.

"The Library" is my favorite from the SP pack, but those are all excellent scenarios.Originally posted by Kingfish: -
Don't worry, stoat. Taxes are still a breeze for a few years yet. I, for example, paid $14.35 in taxes this year. </font>Originally posted by NG cavscout:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by juan_gigante:

I bet they left the server up so we can keep on having a Peng thread.

Also - pause it at second 26. Is that purple sphere the beginning of the explosion, or what? Does anybody know what that might be?

What tank was that they blew up? My modern armor identification skillz are weak.

Okay, 2 quick questions -
I'm looking for what the TO&E of a German Tank-Hunter Company would be, attached to an infantry regiment. The 1100th, if it matters. I'd assume towed PAKs and perhaps some SP guns, but specifics would be cool.
I'm also not sure exactly what force the Jagers were facing. I believe it's in the 4th Guards Tank Corps, but that's all I've got. If somebody could point me in the direction of a good book or website with maps of Silesia, especially in the area of Bremberg, Dolnoslaskie, or Legnickie (40 miles west of Wroclaw) with forces on them, as of April 24th, or thereabouts, that would be super helpful. All I know is that the Soviet force included tank-ridering infantry, which suggests an armored unit.
Thanks!

It's good to hear he's doing fine. And if nothing else, he has a good, solid name. I've seen a good number of pellet and BB injuries, but never one that penetrated to the point of needing surgical removal. </font>Originally posted by stoat:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by Boo Radley:
Thanks, Abbott.
I just got back from the hospital and Will is doing OK. He has some discomfort, but was having a good time trying to screw with the monitors by holding his breath until an alarm went off and then hyper-ventilating to achieve the same effect. Gotta love him.
What hurts him most is that this happened right at the start of his Easter vacation.
Many of his friends from high school showed up to visit and he took great delight in grossing out the girls by flashing his incision.
He's a good kid.

Okay, I've done some research, and I think there's a lot more info on the division in the late war period, and I've got an interesting action in April of 45 to try - the last offensive action the division took, in Silesia. I'm a little iffy on whether to make an operation or set of battles. It's fighting over the course of a day, both sides being steadily reinforced - perfect for an operation, except I don't like how operations work. Arrgh!
Anyways, if I have new questions, I'll ask. Thanks!

LtCol West, when you say "Heavy Guns", do you mean indirect fire assets, or direct fire? Were they generally SP guns, or "regular" guns? Just trying to get a sense about what we're talking here.
