  1. Thanks Steve. I'm sure it's won't be a top priority but would be proper dressing for Normandy battles as so much of the stuff was intrograted into German units stationed in the area.
  2. Will we see captured French tanks being used it CMBN?
  3. Has there been any thought to allowing units to enter knocked out vehicles (halftracks, trucks and the like). to obtain ammo and weapons? I can see perhaps some of the weapons/ammo getting damaged and not being of use but it think its more realistic access to the gear. Think of a jeep with a load of 30 cal and bazooka ammo getting some small arms fire that knocks it out. Sinice its not destroyed or in flames I'm sure some of the gear should be available.

  5. I installed NATO and now see that on many buildings (but not all) the windows are missing. Any fix to this? I have the latest video card update from NVIDIA. Thanks, Copper
  6. 1. Harassing fire. A light artillery barrage over an extended period to keep enemy pinned down or to disrupt movement in the area. 2. Pause in fire. To lure the enemy into the open then resume the barrage to get the exposed enemy. 3. A mix or high explosive and smoke shells. I’m sure you all can name a few you want to see in the upcoming Normandy game.

  8. Quick question, Can/how can a unit man/take possession of and abandoned weapon? I have a heavy MG who's crew was killed. I have another crew from a gernade launcher who has used all their ammo. I'm trying to have them take over the MG. Thanks,
  9. Steve, The pictures are great! Are you looking at putting in hit decals in vehicles like what we see in TOW? I remember you saying something referance to this in the past.

  11. I did get the email that you we speaking of Steve. I though it was really weird and did not take any action. That email has since disappeared from my computer.

  13. Not much being heard from Steve lately. Hard at work on Normandy? Perhaps a bone is coming soon??
  14. Given a few minutes to deploy an unit should be able to make a loophole in the wall. Many I'm sure can remember the movie "A Walk in the Sun" where the US Army Platoon set up thier 30 cal by making a loophole in the stone wall to shoot up the German held farm house.

  17. That sounds great. I'm sure this has been brought up before but will CM normandy bring in burning buildings,grass,brush ect? Or even to that matter spreading fire from burning vehicles?
  18. Will there be any updates with smoke on the battlefield in the CM Normandy or even in CMSF. Currently smoke put out by vehicles,infantry and arty is done well. It drifts with the wind and thins out the further it drifts. Burning vehicles on the other hand has the smoke go straight up into the sky.
  19. One improvement I would like to see in CMSF and the up-coming WW2 version is an better track of the type of ammo available. Example is a 60mm battery. Smoke and HE are available. I pound a target with HE and use up all the ammo and the battery is now out. What about the smoke ammo? Why can't we still have access to the smoke ammo?

  21. Yes, you are right. I look forward to its release. I have 100s of ASL battles I would like to plug into a new game.
  22. Where do we stand on seeing the WW2 version come out? The last I heard was 4Q of this year. Any news?
  23. Sneaksie, Are you looking at spring for the update release to include buliding you can enter? How about atleast 2 story building? Thanks in advance.
