And they did!I definitely think Hitler and Stalin could have tea together!Well, maybe not tea but something anyway.
the molotov-von ribbentrop pact divided the baltic states and poland between these two dictators, as I'm sure most of you history-freaks know .

NO diplomacy??!!Originally posted by Curry:I hope there is NOT diplomacy in SC. I like SC the way it is and if I want to play Diplomacy I will play a game of Diplomacy. Its a great game to play via email by the way.
war without diplomacy is like a hangover without beer(just imagine )
If there's no diplomacy in SC2 I'll take my money elsewhere.

If you really believe that, I have only one thing to say to you: open a historicaly correct book from time to time all right?Originally posted by jon_j_rambo:US has & had the best Land, Air, & Ground forces in the history of mankind. Hitler & his Nazi buddies could have jets & bottles of whatever to fuel them. Problem for Germany, they weren't fighting Poland, France & the other non-factors of WW-2. The US just needed a little logistics to take care of business.

Bill, I know that it would be a lot easier to implement the ultimatums and peace treaties as scripted events but just imagine all of the posibilities.
especialy in a multi-player game, this would be very nice.

Bern,Cairo,some Russian cities,..

That's true but how do you delay the fall of France?
By giving them more mpp's!!
-
I would also give it to France, since they need it more.

Never attack the UK naval control over the Atlantic.
let him attack you(against a human player).
After he has lost a good ammount of ships against your luftwaffe in the Baltic, a good technique is to launch an attack from the Baltic sea at the same moment you're disrupting the convoy's in the atlantic.
But you're right even with this, the battle of the atlantic is a bit of a laugh and I hope this will be set straight in SC2.

The old world is dead!!!
accept it, it is our turn now, mwooehahahahahaaaaaaa  .
seriously, things on this forum have been going really slow lately, it's not so much that 'the old guard' has dissapeared it's just that they've been busy elsewhere(GF,SC2,).
And jersey john has created a new forum now, remember?
I'm a member of his site as well, but I'm ashamed to say that I haven't been really active there .
But many people of the 'old guard', as you call it, are active there.
a humble message from a humble noob to the old hags(with all due respect, ofcourse).

ALL of these arguments have been said before.
end of discussion.
The almighty Moon has decided .

DD, for a minute there, I thought you were going to say :
'Uncle Dave wants you for Strategic Command 2!'
-
All right, the reinforce button is a bit extreme but I would like the ability to upgrade all air fleets at once and see how much it will cost without having to grab the calculator and spending a lot of time searching the map for my air fleets.
This is unlikely for the air force but imagine that you want to upgrade your Russian armies with the latest anti-tank tech before going into Germany. This would take quite a while and in multi-player(not PBEM), irritate your opponent(unless of course that's your point, I've noticed that my opponents start making a lot of mistakes when they're impatient to strike back zt me )
Any news on Diplomacy Options?
in Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg and Weapons and Warfare

Did you just accuse me of never having actually played SC before?!?
I don't have to take this **** from you, I play PBEM, not for the league, I admit but against neigbours and friends.
You and most people at the league are probably a lot better than me at PBEM,that I admit.
The question is, does that make your opinion worth more than mine?
Appearantly, you like your games simple: less thinking, more killing.
If that's your opinion I'll respect it if you'll respect mine, but you obviously don't.
