  1. Can you explain to me how in an assualt operation,I inflicted close to 3 times as many casualties on my opponent,KO'ed twice as many vehicles,KO'ed 32 guns,5 bunkers, 12 mortars, captured 11 men(he did shoot down like 3 of my planes)and made it to around 75% across the entire map,and suffered a tactical defeat. Are losses not counted *at all* in advance/assualt ops?I can understand if its this way for a assualt, but for advance also?Shouldnt advance count losses just like staitc does?

My other question is,why doesnt the map advance and setup zones get re-drawn after the final battle in a assualt op?You would of course not fight another battle, but you should get rewarded for your efforts in the final battle, right?

    Thanks for any help smile.gif

I agree. You will also note that the canister shot spreads out as it travels further away from the gun. Also,to bring the limited effective range into play, its drops in altitude(I think).

    Revs,

You cant post any screenies? :please:

Even in large BO battles above 1000m seems to me sure less than 25-33%.

Agree that most engagements were under 1000m in the west, have no problem with that, but to me it seems that if you state that 25-33% of engagemetns were 1000m or ABOVE, then even taking the 25% figure it seems to me that BO was a bit off that. In gerneral it is fine the smaller portion being 1000m plus engagements, but I think it is quite a bit smaller than those 25% mentioned by you previously.

The numbers are from my training with MG3, which is similar to the MG42 albeit with a slower ROF.

To go along with this, you can see in this avi why you only fire short bursts from a mg42 on a bipod.

What were the params for the BDLRM?

I quite enjoy the irony here, check page 3 of this very thread, somewhere in the middle with big bold letters. tongue.gif   </font>
  6. Care for a game old boy??
Yes,but not now.I am far too busy.Give me atleast a couple of weeks if not a month.I have even had to postpone a few of my current PBEMs to try and get caught up.It will also have to be a CMBB game as I still do not have CMAK.

Besides, Pseudo knows I am just giving him a hard time.I was one of the first people to beat er um play him,and I am the one that encouraged him to join our merry little band of misfits here. The whole master-student thing is just our(or is it just mine)on going banter during the emails

Please remind me in a few weeks about your request for a game, just in case I forget.

At first I thought this might put undue pressure on me until I realized that, like me, most of these maggots just ignore your posts. And I don't recall us playing QB's (this'll be my first) with force selection issues and such. That being said, I will wield the power of the >:) with extreme prejudice!!! </font>

DaveH How about posting some screenies for those of us unable to participate in the BDLRM?

  9. There were some done for CMBB that helped you see it.Just use the mods that were done for BB.To my knowledge, they are the same BMP numbers(2130,2131).

If there arent any at CMMODs(as a result of the crash),maybe someone would upload them for you.

    Edit to add:

My bad,I thought you were asking about "rough" not "rocky",however, you might want to check anyhow. There were mods done that altered the doo-dads,and there may atleast be a "quick fix" there.

  10. Since no_one and Mike are the only two maggots to send turns in the past week, I guess my TNT chucking will be limited to them
Hmmm, you know, there for a few days,I thought this might actually result in as much as two turns per week, but alas no.Oddly enough, somehow this statement resulted in me getting no turns at all from DaveH  Send turns DaveH

Pseudo no worries, your lessons will continue. Its just that I seem to be a very good Tiger horder,as a result, setups can take along time sometimes...if you know what I mean....Muahahahahahaah

    Hey Pseudo

What does it sound like when every member,of every tank crew,in your entire fleet of AFVs,sh*ts themselves simultaneously?

Most of 'em didn't even have time for that!  It was a sight to see, though, a line of hull-down Tigers straight across the map opening up on my defensive positions. *shudder* </font>
