Hi, Well I have 8 PBEMs running now and I don't need any more for the time being. Thx for the offers though. The Blitz is a magnificent site for PBEMs. There are MANY players there who would like to play good ol' CMBO. In fact, looks like they still have MORE CMBO players (including the 'CMBO & CMBB' public) than CMBB players. I think this deserves a new topic - a kind of sticky where ppl are directed to the Blitz site. I really had no idea SO MANY ppl would like to play CMBO PBEMs.

Yes, I would like to find out the answers too. In a recent game with Bradley Latimer my two MG42s each jammed once which wasn't a very nice thing.

There are hordes of CMBO players to be found everywhere. Try th Blitz ladders, there are at least 200-250 there. Other sources are also available, but I'm amazed by the abundance of the Blitz players.

Hi, I know there is a forum for such topics but just posting it here. If any of you are up for a CMBO PBEM pls let me know (monwarh@bdonline.com). My skill level is regular and I will be ready to take the challenge. I am enjoying my current PBEMs tremendously, I hope I get a similar experience with you.

Hi everybody, I am quite excited about CMAK and am trying to gain some knowledge on the Italian battles. I just came home from Dhaka Public Library where I read a lot - one book was about the Monte Cassino battle. Somewhere I saw that many Germans involved in that battle were saying that this is much worse than anything they have faced in the Eastern Front. Is that true? Was it really that bad? Worse than Stalingrad or Korsun? BTW I have another question. Will CMAK be available in retail? That Battlefront.com sales it's games only via online is a source of great woe for me as I am a student and don't have a credit card. As a result I have CMBO (retail) but not CMBB :S!! I have Hearts of Iron. Will try Europa Universalis too. I can suggest a game - Blitzkrieg. I liked that. Not quite accurate, but fun. Thx for all the suggestions.

No, no board wargames. I was wondering about these other series like Close Combat, Panzer Elite, Panzer Commander etc. Are they any good? I would try the three you mentioned. A little short of $ now...

Hi all, Combat Mission is so great that by now it has disrupted my regular life routine to a GREAT degree. I would be very interested in knowing about other wargames like CMBO or CMBB. Any info will be very helpful. Thank you!
