LOL!!Thats exactly what mine does.He also likes to swat at the figures on the screen.my cat however loves to use the keyboard and watch the action with the back of his head, while staring into my nose -
Ex-RFCS,Will be joining HB Coy as soon as I get a couple of ops done.So maybe in 2 years! What unit are you in Pinetree? (WnHB here, formerly 16Fd)(Damn public health service).
-
You've really got no worries, mine arrived here in NZ safe and sound. And if,by bad luck,it gets lost in the mail, BFC will send you another one for free.
-
Things haven't changed much in 60 years then, thats what we're still taught today(although it's a C9 not a bren)Standard Battle Drill was for the Bren Group to provide cover fire (while prone) while the Rifle Group did a right or left flanking. -
Yep I meant 2).Real-time would be nice tho' but thats just chrome.
-
Back OT: contour lines would be cool and real-time shading would be nice.Even if just for the cosmetics.

Damn straight.CM is just a brilliant computerizedSome of us play wargames because we enjoy them. If you play wargames to torture yourself, feel free. Just don't expect the rest of us to do so.table-top wargame, nothing else. Some people take it WAAAYY too seriously.Perhaps they need to get out more.

Capt.Charlie Upham, the only combat soldier to win the VC twice.

Here's something sick, how about a gore mod?Have bits of bodies lying around and if a vehicle's a flamer have couple of crispy critters.
-
I have the same problems as well.Something to do with IE.click on "previous page" and you should get the new ones.
-
I'm not being nasty, but could you please use proper punctuation and start your sentences with capitals? It would make you so much easier to read.

Ye gods, now you've put Dionne Warwick in my head!

Thats the whole point of this thread,as just about everyone plays with FOW.How about you stop trolling?if they play this as a simulation then don't u think they would have fow on jons? -
Not necessarily. As I recall, there was a Scottish commander of Commandos (forget his name at the moment) who always went into battle swinging one. The original kind of course: a BIG basket hilt sword.Originally posted by Michael Emrys:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by dalem:

I pre-ordered mine before it was released so I can't really tell you, however when I ordered Tacops from Battlefront,it took about 2 weeks.
-
I ordered mine thru Battlefront and it arrived here in NZ safe and sound.India should be OK too.I haven't heard of any one's copy getting lost.
-
Hopefully we'll also be able to capture and then use enemy weapons and vehicles, but perhaps with penalties, รก la ASL,

You are right, but there's no easy solution to this problem. Besides, there are crazies extant who want even more information, i.e., to be able to check LOS from points on the map where they don't even have units yet! Go figure...Originally posted by Michael Emrys:</font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr />Originally posted by Peter Cairns:
I think the ability to look over the next hill and work out the ideal route of advance tree clump by tree clump, is one of the least realistic parts of the game.

I wish you would've peaked the week BEFORE you played the All Blacks.I think we peaked a week prior with the game against the All Blacks. -
I was there for Anzac Day '99.As i walked up Shrapnel Valley and onto Quinn's Post,I felt nothing but awe for the original Anzacs. At the piss-up afterwards at the Vegemite Bar in Eceabat I felt a certain closeness with you bloody aussies as well(esp. a certain brunette from Melbourne, but i digressHaving stood on The Nek and looked across at Chunuk Bair, I feel a certain closeness to you guys and I think the mutual jibes mark our respect for each other). You're all a bunch of alcloholic convicts but good fun to be around.
And yers can play a mean game of rugger as well.
-
Nope,it was an Aussie boat,OneAustralia or somefink like that, sunk in about 30 seconds flat.A bit scary at the time, rather humourous afterwards.
Isn't funny how everytime someone gets our two nationalities mixed up on these forums, the Anzacs are quick to correct the poor fella and even quicker at start hurling insults at each other.
