  1. Thanks MajorH for the response and the tips. I will have a look a the ww2 project. It sounds interesting!
  2. Hi I received a brand new copy of Tacops today klick I played the tutorial and read the according pdfs. But I have some questions. -It seems that there are hundreds of unused units in this game. But I can only find American and Canadian scenarios and they are on the same maps. Where can I finde more? -I played a Scenario, where I had to stop gazillion of Brts and T80s with some AFVs. I managed to knock out a bunch (Killratio was about 4:1 in favor to me), but that was only 38% of the enemy. I lost 85% until I gave up. Do you have any tips for defending an area, I tried to move my units once they fired, but most time the infantry was to slow and got destroyed by enemy artillery. -I managed to make an own map with the editor, but where is the option to add units, a briefing etc? -Is it possible to Demomove more than one unit at a time? This would be nice to coordinate attack moves. The game is really great, I played about 3 hours today and enjoyed every minute.
  3. Can you give me the url of "TPG"? edit: found it, nm [ November 20, 2004, 03:11 AM: Message edited by: SchnellerHeinz ]
  4. I know that feeling. I always drink coffee, while answering my pbems. Kinda dangerous sometimes My brother alway beats on the table and shouts *censored* when this happens. Kinda like this guy in the first movie here
  5. I got the mail, too. But when does the virus infect my pc. When I open the attachment (a zip file) or when I click on the mail in outlook? I deleted the mail anyway, but reading the text is still allowed I hope
  6. It works sometimes. Often the the units try to run away and get shot by the tanks mgs. Works good with t34 (canister ) against troops below regulars
  7. I can translate the captions Just show the one you want to have translated. The link in your post is dead to me

  9. If you are behind a router and you dont have dchp running (dynamic ips) you have to forward the Tcp port 7023 to your client ip. protocol : tcp port: 7023 (single port) dest. ip : 192.168.9.x (your client ip) dest port: 7023 If your computer is directly connected to the internet and you have a firewall runnig, you have to open the port there. Some firewalls allow certian *.exe to pass through. Do that with the combatmission exe. Some firewalls create a popup when something on you pc want to connect to the internet. Just allow it. Sorry my english is bad, if you could give more information I could help you better maybe. 1. are you behind a router 2. if yes hardware or software router 3. which firewall do you have (if its windows firewall, you have to disable it)
  10. If you are behind a router you have to forward Tcp Port 7023. You computer "may" be running a firewall? Do you have one or not?
  11. You choose a scenario and select "tcpip" after the briefing. when the "waiting for other players" screens appears, your buddy selects "join multiplayer", tcpip and enters your ip adress. You can see your ip adress here www.whatismyip.com If you are behind a router you have to open port 7023 Tcp I think (correct me if im wrong with that)
  12. -No "multiplayer spawn" (start without cd not allowed) -2 cds instead 1 -copy protection (takes a bit more time to start) -patch required to play tcpip -waffengrenadiere That are the differences I think tcpip bug is fixed with the patch.
