  1. Does anyone have any idea if there is or will be a Mac version of CMMOS? I've heard rumours, but will it be compatible with all three CM games? I'm using Mac Mod Manager at present, but it's only compatible with CMBO, or so I understand.
  2. Does anyone have an idea how soon the CMAK/CMBB bundle will be made available after the release of CMAK? Also what's the price likely to be?
  3. There are actually two Mac Mod Managers available which Panzerman would of discovered if he bothered to do any research for you, and you can find them here:- [url=http://www.combatmission.com/mods/macmodmanagers.asp]
  4. I have recently upgraded Appleworks from 6.2 - 6.7 and think this could be affecting CMBO briefing fonts. I have noticed prior to upgrading Appleworks that the briefing fonts in CMBO were American typewriter and now seem to be courier style. Just out of curiosity I loaded Appleworks in OS 9.2.2 and checked the font menu, but can not find American typewriter style, but when I load Appleworks in OS X, the font menu displays American typewriter. Can anybody please help in any way as I'm not that familiar with OS 9, and not even sure if it has anything to do with Appleworks - it could well be a system font problem?

  6. Does anybody have an idea when CMX2 is due for release roughly? Also what type of things are people expecting from CMX2 , with regard to features and playability etc? One feature I would like to see is when a unit is under Artillery fire, instead of just hitting the ground for cover or running, how about having men flying through the air with the impact, as would be the case in real life? Another feature which has got to be a must is a complete listing of all units or platoons, and being able to select or jump straight to that units position - there are also many others I could probably mention, but hopefully some will be included in the future. I look forward to finally being able to play this on OS X, but I will still have plenty of time for CMBO, and soon CMBB or CMAK, when I can purchase the CMBB/CMAK bundle.
  7. I was wondering if BTS or anyone would be interested in a CM version set in WWI at all and whether this could make a good game or not? Or if not WWI how about some other date in history, maybe the American civil war, The British Empire Conquests, The Roman Empire etc. I understand this would be moving away from the usual format, but could also introduce many new forms of new gameplay, while at the same time keeping CM fresh and appealing to old and new players alike. Surely there has got to be some potential at least in a WWI version of CM?
  8. I would like to have a backup copy of CMBO and use this instead of the original, but I have a slight problem. I live in England and purchased CMBO direct from the BTS website, and have managed to copy all the files from CMBO CD to my HD. I have then copied all the files to a CD-RW and started the game as normal, but when I try to bypass the intro, I am then asked for the original CMBO CD. I would obviously like to use a backup copy of CMBO and not the original if possible, so has anybody got any ideas or suggestions please?
