  1. Hello Battlefront,

after enjoying the British Campaign (congratulations to the developers), i´m looking forward to the NATO-Modul.

Someone mentioned in another thread, that your developers are working parallel on Normandy and NATO. As a German, i am logically very interested on all things, which deal with the Bundeswehr in the new game.

    1. I know, you will not mention a release-date here, but will we see it in 2009 or 2010?

    2. May you give me/us some sweets here about the weapons and vehicles we have to expect, not only for the Bundeswehr, also for the other armies.

    3. Any other info about the NATO-Modul would be nice! :D

Minimum type of vehicles and weapons i would like to see in the german contingent:

    Dingo, Fennek, Fuchs, Leopard 2 A6, Marder A3, G36, MG3, MG4

By the way: Please colour the german vehicles with the new Afghanistan camouflage, dark brown and sand.

    Greets MARS42

German Bundeswehr forces MUST have a Weisel!!

  2. With all this talk of cannons' "attitude", I'm curious why no modelling of how a Challenger's gun angles upward after firing? (Is this the case with the Abrams too? I forget. I know the Leopard 2's gun elevates after firing.)

Abrams's gun doesnt do that, since it doesnt have an autoloader. Generally it will go back to neutral position, so the loader can load the next round. if the gun stays depressed, its impossible to manually load

  3. Very nice, M1! You planning to do the other Brit vehicles too?

I already did some, but I cant post a screenshot since they do not appear in the demo. Ill post them shortly after the game release.

As far as Afghanistan game, I wish I could be involved, but my work schedule would not allow it. My wife is already complaining about how much time I spend on modding CMSF

  4. Yeah, well it's definitely not something that you need to simulate on the CM battlefield.

My bottomline is; would it be fair to assume that a US army battalion has some kind of organic short range ADA capability and that there are long range ADA assets at brigade level?

(Bear in mind - this is just for the operational level of a meta campaign...)

    regards/

    sdp

They could have Stinger Bradley with them, or attached ADA platoon, or some MANPAD crews. They would not have any organic ADA weapons
