Its selling Amazon for $7.67, and even cheaper used. It says its by ValuSoft, and I dont see any mention of BFC there. Whats up with that?
-
In the first video it says that it was created for new doctine, "Strategic maneuver". It even has a bathroom inside
It said that it has enough fuel and resources to drive from Ural mountains to the English channel
The newest version, BMP3M, can stop small caliber cannon rounds (like 25mm) and it's diesel engine power was increased by 30%. It has Shtora, Arena, and ERA armor
They compared it to Bradley among other APCs, and said that BMP3 has more ammo loadout (1 ton) and is amphibious. It is also more reliable mechanically

Get it at CMMODS
-
Steve
Awesome! Should I assume that includes Bradley and M1A2 TUSK?
-
Doesnt it also have adjustable hydraulic suspension?
-
You can use them as disposable units in your scenario, while "core" American soldiers get to move on
-
Its all about who spots the other first
-
All you would need is an automatic mod download. Have you ever played free multiplayer game Enemy Territory? When you attempt to get into a match, it downloads any mods needed automatically. It can be done with CMSF as well
An if your opponent really wants to play, it will be a greater incentive to pay for those extra units that you have
-
There you go Steve
Someone is willing to make models for free. All you have to do is to sell them and make money. Seems like a good deal, and gamers get what they want - extra content like M113s
-
They are Iraqi National Police SWAT units, which replace CMSF Special Forces textures. The other Iraqi Police are regular urban police units, which replace CMSF Combatant textures.
You could for example create a scenario where Iraqi SWAT and regular police units with US Army support fight Iraqi Insurgents (CMSF fighters)
Some of my inspiration photos

Steve
How about making users pay for extra content like many other game do? Say if someone wants that M113? Sell it for $4-5. Someone wants that MAUS model? Pay $4-5. Someone wants Bridges? Sell it for $10
Does this sound feasable? Or how about allowing someone in this community who is a 3-D moddeler create models, and you can sell them, just pay them commission or something.

Ok, Version 2 is at CMMODS
-
I think that was the plan, but since so many things in CMSF were broken at launch and still being fixed, putting in extra vehicles is on the back burner.
There are things they could fix in a matter of hours, but since the fix list is huge, we have to wait months and months for a certain fix a lot of people want (Quick Battles for example)to be fixed

Yeah Dan, I am still working on Korean/Chinese mod Taking little longer then I was hoping
-
Didnt know Brits use Bundeswehr Leopards,Gepards, Marders, Pumas, Fenneks,Luchs and Fuchs. And how about Wiesels?Originally posted by Sequoia:Once you add the Germans and you already have British vehicles you get the Dutch and Canadians cheaply, the word from Battlefront was at least. I don't know if the same applies to the Australians.
-
I am glad to see Marines finally get eye protection that the Army soldiers in CMSF should have gotten. I hope they get NVGs for night scenarions
-
They are adding only one branch of US military in the next module. How do you expect them to add Canadian/Dutch/German/Australian militaries? They would never do that (add "kitchen sink"), as Steve has stated, since they learned on mistakes of CMBB
-
Why would that be a whole new game? All we need is some new trees and roofing types.
Steve also said he would never do Asian/Pacific, so Korea is out

If you add M113s, we can finally simulate US police raids on Texas ranches full of crazy cultists

If proposed 3rd module with Germans/Dutch/Canadians adds European theathre, than I am all for that. Just make sure to add Russians in the 4th module
-
I would also like to have an anwser to this questionOriginally posted by Cpl Steiner:BFC,
Will it be possible to remove the M32 grenade launchers from a Marines unit, perhaps by using the equipment quality setting? I would like to simulate OIF battles such as "An Nasiriyah" (Ambush Alley) using the new module but the M32s weren't available in 2003. It would be helpful for scenario designers if one of the quality settings effectively produced OIF-era Marines units.

Yes, the writing I will fix, it does say "river resque, as I got it from a police patrol boat. So Ill get that fixed in 2.0
I am working on Iraqi Army as well.
A couple things I noticed that could be improved
