HI, For me it would have to be the dependable superadaptable old PzIV although the Tiger and Panthers get the all the glory the PzIV was the real workhorse of the Panzer Divisions and there's a school of thought which suggests if the Germans had concentrated their production on the MkIV Instead of all the other costly and time consuming designs they would have fared better.As Stalin said on the subject of German Quality over Soviet Quantity "Quantity has its own Quality".Oh! also the amazing Stug Overworked and overlooked.

Hi, What do you lot think is the best ww2 fiction out there?I used to love the leo kessler wotan stuff but I never seem to see them nowadays and since getting into the game I've had a hankering to read them again I've read a few sven hassel but I find these a bit too far fetched any other stuff you think is good?

Hi, I thought that this mod would end the game either a few turns before or after so you wouldn't know if you were running out of time as opposed to just knowing that the game will last a few extra turns as it is in the variable turns mode.

How come every German platoon is lead by a lt?I thought only one platoon had a comissined officer the others being lead by n.c.o's?Also when an Hq goes down I would like to see either the first squad or the most experienced take over.You could give them a much reduced command line so they would lose a lot of their offensive capabillities yet be able to maintain some defensive role.This would simulate the senior n.c.o taking command of the platoon while everyone else moved up to fill the place of his immeadiate superiour which was one of the great strenghs of the German doctrine.To see some thirty odd veterans lose it because their platoon leader is down seems a tad suspect especially the Germans on the defense.What do you think?

Its a shame that cmak will reap the benefits of being the third version of the cm engine while cmbb which covers the most important aspects of the war should end up being the poor relation. Dont get me wrong I own and love cmbo and cmbb but i think cmbb should have been the last in the line so as to incorporate all the best features into the most important theatre.and i really must add that the desert is one dull looking place and also it is hard enough to work with infantry attacking on the open steppe so whats it going to be like in the desert?Is it going to end up as armour heavy fighting across extensively mined billiard tables?

Can someone please help.Once ive given the units in my battlegroup their individual names. How do i change them?I cant figure it out for instance if Lt.Zimms Co.1st Plt.Gets killed and replaced with Lt.Goetz.Am I missing something ie. functional brain? Thanks.

Just a small gripe but annoying none the less.How come even though the boats are crewed they just sit getting shot at on the bank once there passengers have debarked while your men can be running up and down on the other side of the river in desparate need of a ride.It means that everybody has to get a boat and no return trips can be made.Maybe in reality there would only be one wave in a river assault and no return ie.the crew would be part of the attack and the boats left on the bank.but it is equally unreal to have 20 crewmen sitting on the enemy side of a river waiting to become casualty statistics.Pardon the pun but they really are sitting ducks.
