Hi there I was just wondering if it is worth my while to get it. I have the European DVD case edition and as such there is only a 70 page plus vital game statistics and instructions. THere is also a pdf manual which is 158 pages long. Is this excactly the same as whta is in the printed manual. I have to send my cover page of my slip manual to Battlefront for me to get a full printed manual. I just wanted an honest oppinion as to whether it is worth it or not? Oh, I also have the Strategy Guide. Regards Gian

Hi Guys As someone who CMBB as well as was in the mood for some Normandy scenarios for awhile after my experience in the great Russian expanses. So I fired up a game yesterday and )(^()^((^*^, I need some mods to make it look a bi better. I haven't downloaded one mod for CMBB as I feel that the look is great by default already. But as for CMBO, it looks a bit dated. I know and are familiar with most of the mod sites out there, but I was wondering if you veteran players could help me choose the best or most used CMBO mods for a consistant look. I mean I have a mixture of mods from the extra cd that I got with CMBO but it just doen't cut it to have photo realistic textures on some vehicles and normal repaints on others. Can anyone point me in the right direction, maybe there are som mod packs that I am not aware of? I am looking mostly for the best terain and as well British vehicles, Armour and infantry and Vehicles, Armour and infantry. Thanks in advance!!!!! Regadrs Gian

I bought CMBO late last here in Ireland. It was boxed as in the good old days and it included a second cd with allot of mods on it. Will this be the same version that will be released in the US or will it be an improved CMBO? If so would it be available here in Europe? Regards Gian

Hi There I decided to do a quick battle scenario the other night. I was playing as a Mechanized WG and my opponents was a Mechanized Guards. The we played on 1000 points. So, I think I had it set in a small village on a not so hilly and treed map. So I bought a WG Panzer Grenadier Company and one Tiger. I was on the defensive, and I am not sure what my the AI bought exactly. I am definitaly not an expert in this game but I was so impressed with my performance that I just have to do the same again. My troops were stationed in various houses providing suppressing fire while I had two 81mm Mortar positions do area effect fire on the Russian infantry positions. My Tiger started going to work immidiately picking of about 4 advancing tanks, 2 Shermans, 2 T-34's and numerous small, light vehicles. We aslo spotted what seemed to be a IS-2 but I think my troops mis-identified it and it turned out to be a T-34. After 21+ turns I won a total victory with only 4 casualties from a 156 with one mortar team member killed due to exposure. I think I placed them a bit bad and they didn't have support fire. The Russians suffered a massive 88 casualties with all their vehicles either knocked out or destroyed. This was a great game. Enjoyed myself to bits. Well, I not trying to stir trouble, but at least going on how accuracy is a big part of the game and that goes for the implementation on the tactics, AI and of course the 3D environment. Just odd that only two units of all the hundreds were left inaccurate. Regards Gian

I know that these are very rare to come across but taking into account the realistic, accurate modeling of the rest of the units these two don't have accurate models. The IS-3 is an IS-2 model and the T-44 looks like a T-34/85. My only gripes so far. Regards Gian P.S Hope that this might be addressed in an upcoming patch perhaps?

Hi First of all I would just like to say that I can kick myself for not having discovered this game sooner!!!!! Amazing!!!!!! Question, when you choose a quick battle does it generate random maps for every area? For example If I play three farmland games would the farmland maps all look different?
