  1. Hi All is it supposed to ship in a box or DVD case. I got my cd's in the manual without any case or box. Not a big deal but just wanted to know. Cheers, Gian
  2. Wow, delivery is fast!!!! Can't wait know to fire this baby up but I have to finish work first before I can do it. Hopefully we will see some more variants of the T-72 playable in the near future with the reactive or extra sloped armor modelled or perhaps even a T-80 or T-90. Love these variants of MBT's. Thanks, Gian [ July 14, 2005, 06:17 AM: Message edited by: Gian ]

  4. Hi I am not really one to donwload that many mods for the CM series as I sometimes find myself concentrating more on modding than playing the game. ONe thing though, I really want to get a good winter mod for CMBB that contains most units. Is there a Big Motha winter donwload available that covers all nations. I know, I have looked at CMMmods website and there are so many but they all focus on a few units etc. May be someone can recommend one to me? Also is there a BMP list for CMBB, as I am looking for new pictures for the Choose game type screen. Thanks Gian
  5. Hi there guys Interesting post. I am a huge WW2 game fan and needless to say I snapped up CM 1,2 and 3. I play CMBB the most as the Russian theatre is a very interesting campaign. The graphics are good, but not great. But as they say, beauty is not everything. I think the CM series will still be cherished my us grognards for a long time to come. But at the same time we are looking forward to new developments. For those warmongers that don't know yet there is a new game coming out, however it is a RTS not turn based. Look at this and it is based on the IL-2 engine. http://www.cdv-board.de/english/showthread.php?s=66ae56774abce13ba43d5fc89d434269&threadid=34155 Now that looks amazing!!!!!! If they can get the physics and all other parts right then we are on to a winner here. I play CM regulary, as well as Blitzkrieg which I think is really cool. Also sometimes Eric Youngs Squad assault. Anyway, we are really spoilt for choices but titles that utilises todays technology are not yet released, there are a good few titles in the pipeline and I hope they are as promising as they look. 8. Hi there I am looking for a high res sky update for CMBB. Is there anything like that? Also I am loking for new unit pictures in the info boxes as well as when you choose single or multiplayer. The stock ones aren't that nice. Thanks, any help appreciated. Regards Gian
  9. Hi Guys I am fimiliar with most mod sites but I was wondering if someone could give me a quick fix. I am looking for realistic German Markers with the Swastika as well as updated unit pictures that you get in the info boxes at the bottom. Also if there is a authentic uniform update for the German infantry and maybe sin updates for the vehicles that have the Afrika Korps insignia on them that would be appreciated. I am sure there must be quite a few but if there is on that you veterans would recommend I would appreciate it. Thanks Gian
  10. Hi Coldmeter Thanks for the info!!!! Pretty cool. Cheers Gian
  11. Hi there fellow commanders, Yesterday I decided to order The Battery Commander, His Batman, and a Cook here from the website as I thought that might be a good read. I already got it today!!!!!!! How fast is that!!!!! I live in Dublin and I think they distrubute it here in Ireland don't they. Anyway, that is mighty cool!!!!!! Great game by the way!!!! Just whish I didn't have to disable my AA to play it properly on my ATI video card, not even minimizing and going back into the game works. Oh well, entirely different topic. Cheers Regards Gian
  12. I see that a German Fusilier Company or Battalion are more expensive that Panzer Grenadiers. What does Fusilier mean? Thanks Gian
  13. Hi Lars Thanks, that link was very usefull. I made a quick mission yesterday and chose a whole battalion with some extra units using 5000 points and I have top say (*&%&(*&% there were allot of units!!!!! My poor machine takes ages to process the turns. So untill I get a more powerfull machine, I have to stick to smaller actions. Regards Gian
  14. Cheers That was very informative and yep i forgot about looking in the game itself when you can look at the composition about units. Just whish we had it printed somewhere too. I have been reading so many books lately and they always talk about division this, regiment that, corps there. I could't really appreciate how many men and material were involved in these formations. Gives a good insight to the scale of operations. Regards Gian [ July 31, 2003, 11:31 AM: Message edited by: Gian ]
  15. I mean how many men, tanks, support units etc would you find in one? for Germany and Russia in WW2 that is. I have been to sites like Feldgrau.com and there are interesting breakdowns of what divisions etc consist of but nowhere can I find the actual figures of the number of men and material in these different sized units. Thanks in advance. Regards Gian [ July 31, 2003, 09:46 AM: Message edited by: Gian ]
