lol yeah, you jealous?Originally posted by jon_j_rambo:@C-Trapp --- you're 145 pounds? Is that with both feet on the scale?
Can't say I have, although I did in training (during a live burn).Originally posted by Kuniworth:Comrade;
you've ever rescued someone from a burning house that is full of smoke? I was a firefighter once, it's a pretty hard work to do.
Do you got masks that doesnt cover the ears like in the firestorm movie with Kurt Russel?
Never saw firestorm, although Kurt Russel..... do you mean Backdraft?
and yes, ours doesn't cover the ears. In fact, I've never worn a mask that DOES cover the ears.

Rambo, your looking way too much into this. I rarely eat fastfood, its just when I do, I prefer McDonalds over Burger King.Originally posted by jon_j_rambo:@C-Trapp --- You still eating fastfood? When are you going to learn, that dogfood will kill you. Hmm, that's why you couldn't pass the obstacle course.
oh yeah...... at a whole 145lbs, my fat ass just couldn't make it.....Hmm, that's why you couldn't pass the obstacle course. So, which game is everyone watching today?

I'd be happy to.Originally posted by Kuniworth:Im a little disappointe in you Comrade Trapp. Read your dating page(you know the one that is linked to in your sig where you state that you prefer salty sailors) and it says you prefer McDonalds in front of Burger king....are you insane?
Please ellaborate. Are you inane?
Burger King is a ****hole, McDonalds is not. Hope this clears things up.
And no, MySpace is NOT a dating service!
From Wikipedia:
MySpace is a free social networking website offering an interactive network of user profiles, groups, blogs, photos, and an internal email system. As of January 2006 MySpace is the world's seventh most popular English language website According to Alexa Internet.
I would say about 70% of the people I know (who are my age) have a MySpace. It became extremely popular with teens and young adults pretty much overnight.Due to the popularity of the website (over 50 million users), it has been suggested that a unique culture, mostly within the alternative scene, is developing within the MySpace network. It appeals to teens and young adults, and because of the interactivity between users, many people also discover new groups of people or bands by looking through other people's profiles and their lists of friends and contacts. Additionally, the easy communication and built-in focus on pictures has helped MySpace become a haven for the creation of new trends and the dissemination of current ones.Hope that answers your question.

ok, now I remember, wasn't sure if THAT ONE was z-league or a later one.Originally posted by Kuniworth:No z-league was not the first. THe first was like a championship were people replied in threads to who won or not. Then Zapp launched the z-league at myleague.com

I'm referring to the one we ran just using a thread in the SC Forum, lasted quite a awhile if I remember correctly.Originally posted by Dragonheart:If the first league was the zappleague then i can remember
I remember the name "zappleague", was that it?
-
I don't know, but we sure have come a long way over the years in that area.Originally posted by Dragonheart:I wonder when SC2 is out if there will be a common league.
who here remembers our first ladder/"league"?

wow, Agent Smith, long time no see.Originally posted by Agent Smith:Just chill B.L.
Everybody, who reads all this junk quickly realises that Kuni is a little queer!

No responses to my post?
damn, what a disappointment.....

"Standards are lowering!!"
heh, when did you figure that one out highspeed, standards have plummeted over the past year. Its called boredom.
In all fairness though, I don't really blame you for making this thread. You (and anyone else who joined in the past year) never had a chance to experience the SC/SC2 forums in their former glory. So you don't know any better, you just joined and found this godless mess.
Believe it or not, we had all the threads consisting of intelligent conversation one could ask for. We had tons of SC tournaments, ladders, and “big name games” going on at any one time. And we actually had REAL smack talk / competition, not the cheap shots you see today.
Unfortunately, all that stuff is gone for the time being, but it will return when SC2 is released.
So "lets all calm down in here"....

awww... come on.... I haven't insulted you in like 3 days. And this is what I get in return? I extend my hand in friendship and you slap it away! :mad:Originally posted by beginner's luck:This just isnt fair!!
When K-worth and Comrade Trapp try to insult me,I feel like Germany attacking Poland in SC1. They try to hold on but they are just overly matched!!
you'll fit in well here......

oh, my bad.Originally posted by beginner's luck:Dictionary??????? I said directory.
anyway, he wouldn't be in the directory, he quickly fell out of the good graces of the moderators and was banned.
but he should be mentioned in the SC dictionary!

What?!?! Lucky Zebra isn't in the SC dictionary?!?Originally posted by beginner's luck:Well KUNIWORTH , I dont know who LUCKY ZEBRA was(not in directory at all)

I don't think Battlefront has ever disclosed the number, so people won't make random posts just to get to that set number.Originally posted by beginner's luck:Btw how any post do you have to do till your not a Junior member any more?
I wouldn't worry about it, I don't recall it taking that long.

much like the general forum.......Originally posted by rleete:You guys sure have mastered the art of posting multiple times without really saying anything.

Your taking things way too seriously, lighten up.Originally posted by beginner's luck:Time and a couple of thousand posts right,Trapp?!!
JJ ,
But weren't those "newbies" days special? Atleast one member knows what I'm talking about.
So since the date of the release of SC2 is off limits to talk about. What does it mean to be part of the elite SC community? Knowing that MADMATT is the moderator(oh wait that is listed under his name and has nothing to do with how he spells it, just in case Comrade Trapp didnt see it)? Or is it just being on the forum for a while?
Happy Holidays!

I'm not always hostile to new members.Originally posted by JerseyJohn:SC isn't actually hostile to new members, I mean, other than one or two people who maintain their stance to keep up a tradition.
The way I see it, I thin out the bad apples. There is no room for weaklings, only the strong survive here at Battlefront.
The question is:
Is "Beginner's Luck" a survivor? Will he too become apart of the elite SC community?
Only time will tell.......

Madmatt is a moderator highspeed. And besides, neither one of them took a word from the english language and butchered the hell out of it for their screen name.Originally posted by beginner's luck:With names like MADMATT, Jon J Rambo, Seamonkey, etc. I figured it didnt matter how I spelled my name.
Kuni,
Exactly how is our community / camaraderie destroyed? It would take a lot more than some newb to destroy that. damn kuni, get with the program!
And last but not least, finally, I get to use this!

Kid, both of them have been around since SC1 came out (2002). If they were the same person, I'm sure they would have been "found out" long ago.Originally posted by beginer's luck:Either way Kuniworth reasoning/answer is incorrect. So given this new development JJ/KUNI what do you have to say.
BTW So I am a " patethic chump " cause I dont agree with your answer Kuniworth. Or is it that I found out the connection between you and JJ Rambo?
Amazingly others have stated a different solution or disagree with yours but they aren't chumps! So that leaves me to concluded that the real reason is the KUNI-JJ thing. Please dont get to upset about being found out. I'm sure it was going to come out anyway when SC2 came out. When JJ would lose to Kuniworth just so KUNI "looked" like he was a master.
Sadly I have seen this many man times before when a new game came out. It makes my heart heavy knowing the stress of waiting for SC2 has driven someone to this extreme. Lets all try to help this poor soul and bring peace to his chaotic world.
That or Moon (whose the SC forum's moderator for you newbs) is completely incompetent. But I doubt that’s the case.
btw, you spelled "beginner's" wrong......
MOON YOU CRAZY LOON!!!!

Backdraft/Firestorm was a unrealistic movie at best. Most American firefighters do not go running into full blown structure fires with their gear hanging open.
And while your right about being smart with water usage, water damage is not a major concern of mine when I'm fighting a full blown structure fire. Now if its containted to one room, I see your point.
