July 26, 1942: German army lost near Minsk, russian tank and a corps destroyed. Leningrad under attack. West: Further airbattles with the Bordeaux AF after the Paris air got lost.

July 12, 1942: Romanian army lost near Kiev - russian army survives at str 1. Leningrad cut off. Russia shows Anti-tank lv 2. West: Allied transports close to Hamburg and Brussel. US corps transport attacked by german cruiser and reduced to str 5. Again airbattles over France.

June 28, 1942: No axis losses in Russia, russian tank and corps destroyed - slowly but surely moving forward. Kiev now surounded from 4 sides. West: Italian corps lost, next german AF built in Bordeaux.

June 14, 1942: The strange thing is, only 1 german AF attacked last turn, the other 4 were fully repaired...first Allies had perfect tech advances, now they get perfect combat results - all UK AFs did maximum damage, otherwise some german AFs would have survived... But doesn´t matter any more, Allies are too weak - Axis is 3:2 superior in units and has a lot more mpps/turn. New german AF built in Paris. Russia: No german losses, tank survives at str 1 near Leningrad. The russian tank survives at str 2. Another tank near Kiev killed and a corps near Minsk. Finland joins Axis

May 17, 1942: No german losses in Russia this turn, nevertheless Axis kills a russian army and corps. German tanks reach Leningrad. West: Allies last desperate attack starts with several transport along the coast. UK bought another AF (2 UK AFs now). UK researched Jets lv 2, USA Jets lv 4...Allies are getting every turn a tech advance or two while Axis gets nothing and Axis is researching with a lot more chits...really strange, the third game in a row with such one sided tech advances.

April 19, 1942: Russia kills a german tank, Germany destroys a tank and 3 corps as retaliation. Russian mine near Sevastopol buried down. West: USA developed jets lv 3, 2 UK and 3 US AFs moved to southern England - now it is 1 UK AF less. All 5 german AFs attack them directly - unfortunately carriers intercept too, so they kill only 1 allied AFs instead of 2-3 expected. Lost german AF replaced - again 5 AFs in service around Paris/Bordeaux.

March 22, 1942: Russia kills 2 german corps, russian tank killed in return. Riga conquered. West: US AFs demonstrate jets lv 2 by attacking Brussel port.

February 8, 1942: Russia attacks aggressively like expected. One german tank lost. Axis kills 2 russian tanks a corps as retaliation. Riga under attack, but survives. Russia already developed anti-tank lv 1 - Axis wants also such scientists ...no research advances for axis except the 2 jet levels

December 14, 1941: Same procedure as every game with Zapp...he buys a lot of tanks (9 in spotting range) + armies around Kiev, will sacrifice them in the following turns and then surrender... Tanks in Riga + Minsk. German forces destroy 2 new russian corps and clear the rear area from survivors of the first strike. Odessa conquered in the process. A russian corps near Kiev survives at str 1. Portugal, Greece and Iraq surrender West: everything´s quiet

It is pretty simple: As long as an enemy unit is standing adjacent to the enemy port, you can not capture it in this turn with your own units. So you only need to destroy all adjacent units and AFTER this you can move one of your land units to the port and capture it. BTW: The city (or fortress in case of Gibraltar) is the main owner of a port, so the next turn ownership of the port will be returned to the owner of the city.

November 16, 1941: Barbarossa starts... All 9 russian border armies killed or cut off. 2 tanks, 1 cruiser, 1 AF destroyed. 6 german tanks, 8 armies, 8 corps and 3 AFs enter the country. - Portugal + Iraq: capital surounded - Greece: capital conquered, Greece continues fighting. - Germany reaches lv 2 jets at the end of the turn

September 21, 1941: Yep - Luftwaffe retaliates and sinks together with an italian sub another UK battleship. Some other ships are damaged. Allied airfleets, carriers and transports retreat to the north - Montgomery has to operate to avoid destruction. USA built a third AF.

August 31, 1941: Huge air and sea battle around Brest. Allied transport near the city protected by several battleships and 3 carriers. UK AFs attack german AFs directly across the channel. German air retaliates and kill a UK airfleet with direct hits. Carriers damaged during intercepts. Italian fleet goes simultaneously in the offensive killing a UK battleship during the fights. US army transport damaged. Germany operates several additional AFs to Brest. At the end of the turn - after the big battle - Germany finally reaches lv 1 jets.

August 1941: USA joined some turns ago, Germany still at lv 0 jets (4 chits there) - not a single tech advance until now. US AF operates to London to use the AA bonus.

June 8, 1941: - Brest defender destroyed after heavy airbattles with all 3 UK AFs, will be occupied next turn - Gibraltar corps reduced to str 3, will fall next turn

May 11, 1941: - Yugoslavian units retreat to the coast and leave their capital, Yugoslavia surrenders without a fight - Spain surrenders - The damaged UK corps lands after the UK air reduced the port to 0. Was obviously necessary to prevent their own men from fleeing immediately. Now they can only stay and die - 5 german AFs move in range of Brest, army and corps go into position to reconquer Brest.

April 13, 1941: - Madrid conquered, Spain refuses to surrender - Gibraltar under attack - Yugoslavia coups - Bulgaria joins - UK transport outside Brest under german air attacks - UK developed Jets lv 1

March 16, 1941: - Hungary joined and the invasion of Spain starts - Alexandria conquered - Allies abandoned Bergen, will be occupied in 2 turns

February 2, 1941: - Swedish units were sent on kamikaze mission, Sweden surrenders - RAF attacks Brest port and wastes UK mpps - Alexandria reduced to str 5, will fall next turn

December 8, 1940: - Brest conquered last turn - Bergen allied - Sweden invaded, AF destroyed, all other units heavily damaged. - Romania joined last turn in November

October 13, 1940: - Norway converted. - 3 UK carrier kill an italian corps near Algier. - Brest under attack, port reduced to 2. No escape for the canadian army str 4. Two UK AFs intercepting - UK built a third AF. - Alexandria under attack from both sides.
