Oh yeah!Im for one!It might even be possible to get some of the Cheery Wafflers to post AARs from some of our battles. A question. Will there be enough space for smallish pics to be uploaded with them?As you know,a picture is worth a thousand words, especially when it comes to AARs.

Not a problem! It probably all boils down to my being misunderstood, which for some reason is my curse when it comes to the written word. I was trying to say that i accepted and understood how you felt and wouldnt intentionally do it again, but that i would'nt spend hours per post making sure everything i said was "Cheery Waffle PC"(PC in general yes,but there seems to be a fine line between humor and offense which escapes me often times when posting.Boy did i pick the wrong thread to hang out in,huh? ). When it comes to stuff in here, unless it is a blatant racial, sexist(etc)comment,i just shrug it off.No one in here, that i know of,is trying to step on any toes.Except for Axe ,but he is just sadistic that way Edit to add: Just wanted to make sure.If any of this was offensive it wasnt intended to be (ugghh, you made me post a smiley in here   ) [ February 01, 2004, 04:32 PM: Message edited by: nevermind ]

Mods: CMMODS More mods and check out CMMOS CM HQ Scenarios: The Scenario Depot Scenarios and opponent finder forum: The Proving Grounds Welcome to the forum, and the great CM series. My best advise to you is to find a human opponent and play against them. You think CM is good now, wait till you get your arse handed to you by somebody Edit to add: Im not sure how useful this site might still be(its been inactive for awhile)but heres one more CM Outpost [ January 31, 2004, 10:19 PM: Message edited by: nevermind ]

Does HMG annihilate tank from above?
nevermind replied to Snow Leopard's topic in Combat Mission - Tips and Tricks
This is actually a pretty good question.I would assume that it would against anything that had an open top, like a Marder.Aside from those,i would guess that only the very early war stuff would have thin enough armor on top.It would have to be 10mm or less(probably less)for it to penetrate. Then again,im not even sure if it is something that is possible in the game, due to limitations. Maybe a grog or someone more knowledgeable will come by and enlighten us -
Grid Mod Recommendation
nevermind replied to The Hapless General's topic in Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin
There are no "grid mods",there are grass, snow, and steepe mods that have grid lines on them. With that in mind, the only difference between some of them is that some are low res(resolution?)and some are high res.High res i guess provides a better look, but with more of a strain on your system.Aside from that it all comes down to which you personally prefer Edit to add: Just in case you need it,here is the link to a place that has some(or did) CMMODS [ January 31, 2004, 09:19 PM: Message edited by: nevermind ] -
Ok, like I told Andreas . . . I've always had cats for pets. I love cats. Once upon a time I had two black cats. My ex-husband killed them in front of me and it wasn't a very pleasant experience. That picture you posted was of someone's pet, probably a loved pet. No matter how it died, to put it in a box and label it for sale is just ****in' sick to me. Sure, I posted pictures of entrails here, but to me there's a difference between posting pictures of entrails of animals that were used for food and posting a picture of a someone's dead pet in a box labled "for sale" purely to try to get a laugh. And if I could ever lay my hands on whoever ****in' did that I wouldn't hesitate to kill them. Maybe that's extreme but hey if you can't understand that I don't know how else to put it. Kitty </font>

Im not sure i fully understand what you are saying here, but if i am to take it as it sounds,i will have to disagree with you.Regular squads under command of any HQ with a plus one to morale will respond as if they are veterans when it comes to morale. They have to stay under command at all times though. The best example i can give is that in summer wheatfields a regular squad(with no HQ)can not sneak unnoticed through it.A veteran squad(with or without a HQ)can.A regular squad with a HQ that provides plus one to stealth can.A green squad with a HQ that provides plus two to stealth can.Now all this is dependant on where exactly the spotting unit is,and possible its quality,as well as how big the wheatfield(etc.),but it works. If i am wrong,i would really like to know. Thus far i have been playing and believing this way,and it has worked. If i am wrong(and to answer another question from an above post)then it will be even more of a reason to seperate a low experience HQ from his platoon and replace him with a higher experience(company,or battalion)HQ.Even if he doesnt have as many attributes.
