  1. I think the next game should be CM:CW Combat Mission Cold War. It would be great you could play as either Russian or Americans and all you would be able to do is setup and then eye each other menacingly. Sure BFC would have to add orders like scowl and rev tank loudly but that would be easy enough. Then you could have new units like harassing border guards and the giant wall.
  2. For late war I would go with the Panther but I have a place in my heart for those dumpy looking early war tanks like the Pz-III E, Pz IV D, the Char B1 and the oh so dumpy Matilda II.
  3. In the Danube blues battle I had a tiger hiding around a bend. A T-34 pops out and my Tiger fires at him, about 160m, he misses. The T-34 still hasnt seen the Tiger, my Tiger fires again and the shell ricochets off the turret. At this point the T-34 sees him and fires getting a penetration. My crew shaken lays down smoke and backs off. In furious anger I throw the nearest object against the wall and scream. My Tiger then decides to take aim at SU-122(780 m's or so). What seems to be a miracle my Tiger fires between 2 buildings, through a group of trees, just over the head of my routed Grenadiers and pretty much right down the barrel of the Rusky's gun. Pretty funny and saved me throwing more stuff in disgust.
  4. Yeah where are those giant armour plated zepplins that drop A-bombs
  5. I was playing the Gran battle and was advancing a group of grenadiers up when all of a sudden my grenadiers in the back by the trees decided that they werent moving fast enough and decided to inspire them on by FIRING at them. I finally had to smoke screen the forest grenadiers with my mortar and then park a panther between them. Needless to say that group got volunteered for frontal assault.
  6. I love infantry. If you have trouble moving them try smoke screening dug in positions with mortars or arty. It may just give you the breathing room you need to get your infantry into an effective position instead of cowering in houses and treelines.
