  1. Did Andrew ever do an early Soviet tank crew mod? I am pretty certain I got every mod he ever did and I havn't got one of those. If he did do one & I missed it I would sorely like it!!
  2. Thanks for responding Mr Die Easy. Whilst the earlier grey III's have the benefit of panzermartin's top-notch art-work the new CMAK models are much nicer - far better wheels, gun,gun mount, turret hatch. So I think I will continue to create new grey III's from CMAK, but in future I will add some enhancements before posting. As for gelb - don't worry - every one of them will be done in both plain gelb & camo except the IIIN (which MikeyD already did) - you will just need to be patient!
  3. No response. Oh well...the grey ones are lacking something. I will add shading and highlighting and a bit of wear n tear and maybe some dust over the coming week or so and post later as v2.
  4. Yeah I remember a time when a mod like your Stuart would have hit several hundred downloads easy - times they are a changin'. Just seems interest in armour mods is generally waning.
  5. Update 23/1/04: postings to www.cmmods.com: v1.01 of the Camo IIIJ Late posted (CMAK section) - a few minor changes only. Grau versions of the IIIJ & IIIJ Late posted (CMBB section). I have tried to match to the default BFC grey and scratch mods like Marco/Gordon's flaktrucks - using the StugIIIB as the reference. The picture doesn't really reflect the true colour having come out too dark. Let me know what you think. Whilst these CMAK imports are much better than the CMBB defaults are they preferable to earlier work I did on the grey III's - I still can't decide!
  6. Yep a definite must-have. Not just a simple port either but an enhanced version. Thanks Now I gotta get on with that IIIJ camo.... but been somewhat distracted by something called Massive Assault.....oh well.
  7. Just d/l'd it and put it in game. Great work - superb mod. I love the camo scheme you chose and to get it all lining up like that is terrific! Can't wait for the G Late and H. Thanks
  8. On a far more serious note - why do my troops have such fat forearms. I never really noticed it in CMBB. I wonder if they have caught some horrendous African disease??
  9. Agreed that uploading only once is the 'right' thing to do. Let's not abuse COG's generosity. Also for me with a 56k modem keeping down the number of uploads is a factor.
  10. Thanks for the kind comments guys Italian Theatre of Operations! Using the same idea the desert would be NATO (North African Theatre of Operations)!!
  11. For those who don't visit the CMAK forum......... camo added to the IIIJ Late and posted to cmmods (CMAK section). Fully compatible with CMBB.
  12. Posted to the CMAK section of www.cmmods.com. 100% compatible with CMBB too. Uses BFC's desert IIIJ Late as the base so brings ITO up to very high standards of the default desert armour. Hope u like
  13. Hehe I remember ducking and diving all over the place when I played CMBO and got in with the action. That is what made it such a completely unique wargaming experience - but alas I am now a hardened veteran and no amount of in-coming can make me flinch!!
  14. Thanks....and great timing.... I have just started playing the Ponyri scenario of the Kursk Pack!
  15. Got this and think its great. Still using your splash in CMBB BTW - the only one worth using IMO. Thanks
  16. The IIIJ should be posted tomorrow or at the VERY LATEST the following day.
  17. Well spotted Mr Die Easy! 108668 is the sides of the spare wheels, stowage boxes and that funny black thing (what exactly is that anyway - a jack?) for the Pz IIIJ. The same bmp for the IIIJ Late SHOULD BE 108688. 108688 does exist in the bmp folder but it does absolutely nothing! Due to an unresolved bug the IIIJ Late shares 108668 with the IIIJ. And what this means is that if you install my mod you will get slightly lighter spare tyre sides on the IIIJ than you should have. I have looked at it and it ain't too bad - but it does mean I have to do the IIIJ as my next mod! Sorry for the long-winded explanation but I have to point out why I have done what I have done! Oh - and thanks for the really kind comment re my mods - much appreciated.
  18. Excellent! Thanks Jordan, you're a gem! Off to get them now.
  19. BFC's excellent desert PzIIIJ Late taken out of CMAK & recoloured and generally tarted up for the Russian front. Plain Gelb version. WAY better than CMBB's default. Get it while you can from www.cmmods.com If anyone wants to use it as a base for a dirty or camo mod please feel free to do so.
  20. Hey Jordan you got that wrong. The one you posted 'Sherman75' was mine. The one you are missing is the 76mm and that is by - guess who - Mr Noobie. My 75 was simply converted from his 76. Unfortunately I have no idea what he called the zip - possibly something like 'M4A276'. Dunno. All the best in your hunt for yet another Noob mod!
  21. Er...nil I'm afraid. I've never used winter mods in the past so am just beginning to build up with the Russian stuff by Noob & Panzermartin and a few of Canons you just reposted. I whitewashed a PzIII a while back but wasn't very happy with it so got rid of it. I do remember what looked like a real nice Grau Tiger in a sort of overall white done by Canon but havn't seen it amongst your re-posts. Is there any particular German tank/vehicle you need a whitewash on?
