The history channel had a documentary , some time ago,on the Korean action and talked at some length about task force Smith. Use to have a book on it but not sure now - will check. Now that I think about it perhaps the documentary was something about Gen. McArthur.

Seems like I have read about tanks being destroyed by mines not always just being immobilized with the tracks damaged. The odds might be low but it would seem some of the lighter tanks - say a T-26 might suffer more damage from a mine than a KV-1.

Have you tried using the compatibility mode in windows XP? Install the game and then right click on the games icon , in properties you can launch the game in compatibility mode. Probably won't work but thought I would mention it. Yea it was an excellent game for its time.

Speaking of diesel engines does CMBB have anything dealing with extremely cold weather in Russia and Finland. In the snowy scenarios do the AFV's have trouble starting. Diesel engines can have real problems in very cold weather if the diesel fuel is of poor quality. So CMBB does a lot with bogging now but anything with the weather other than movement speed and visibility? Didn't the Germans have problems with oil freezing in their tanks and other vehicles?

I notice that the Merriam-Webster Thesaurus shows the following synonyms for taunt: ridicule, deride, lout, mock, quiz, rally, razz, scout, twit. Not too sure about rally? Quiz and scout are a tad strange too. Lout sounds nice. Also related words: banter, chaff, provoke, upbraid, distain, scorn, affront, insult, offend, outrage. These all sound pretty good.

I think its the casualties being taken out. If you don't want that change it from its random setting.

I usually associate the words Sucky and Crappy with the T 26 tank.

Did the standard Panhard AC have a 20mm cannon?

Will have to try that. Have not used the alt F foxholes for anything yet.

Attempted to play a QB today on the internet with a previously saved map. It did not work. Got a wierd display that was mostly unresponsive and could not even exit the screen so had to reboot. The evening before I had used the same map and it worked fine in a QB on just my computer. Whats going on here?

I have also read about it being done.
