So, I'm not sure of the exact climatology, but I think it snows A LOT there. Maybe it begins consistently snowing in October...

I have a suggestion that is totally different than all of yours: Nuclear Research.
Exceptionally expensive and risky research program. When used it would eliminate all units and production for the hex hit.

It often boils down to a tradeoff between a supply bonus versus the HQ command bonus. Do you keep your HQ forward to provide leadership for 5 key units, or do you keep it back closer to a supply source city to provide supply for everyone within range? That's the challenge players need to wrestle with.
A technique for the German player to try in Russia is to use HQs in pairs. Have one HQ with high commander rating forward to provide leadership support. Have another HQ with lower commander rating back within range of a supply source city to provide logistical support. If it's within range of a 6+ city, that HQ has a supply value of 10. For a <6 city, the HQ's supply drops to 8 but this is still pretty good for central Russia.
You just have to watch the partisan effects on city strength, which in turn affect the city supply range to the HQs. Being inside a city like Smolensk with only strength 1 will still give a HQ supply value 8, which will help everyone around Moscow more than having it up closer and out of supply. What good is leadership without supply? There's a tradeoff involved, and players have to decide what's best for them.

However I'd like some infomration that states something like this (hisorically of course)
Germany had thia many army units, air wings unit, Battlships, U-Boats etc.
Netherlands had an Army Group I consisting of 2,000 troops.
The USA had blah blah blah then ramping up production.
I can use a database or refernece to really make this scenario come alive. Can somone point me in the right direction and give me some links?
LIke army totals for all countries in 1939?

A few questions though:
The Baltic States were anti-semetic?! I just don't know how the governments could have assoaicated Jews with Russian Communism when Stalin kill just as many as Hitler did, and Stalin killed anyone else who looked the wrong way. I figured the Baltic States would be VERY anti-Soviet, and by 1939's russo-German non aggression act would be clamoring for help from Allied tpye nations who would oppose Stalin and Russia.
Greece: Technically wasn't Greece "Allied" amd against the Axis since Germany invaded and conquered them?
Rambo - Don't forget Stalin. HItelr's deeds are much more well documeneted and talked abou than Stalins... but Stalin was just as bad as Hitler, and maybe even worse.

JerseyJohn - I know what you mean. The amount of doctors in the boob job, chia pet hair growth, and other unneeded plastic surgery areas is sickening. Good doctors and surgeons are terribly overworked.
Ohhh, this is why I don't watch the news anymore. Too depressing.

Rambo you actually have a good point. I'd never thought much about the fact people may have needed jobs and at that early point in the war many of the NAzi atrocities would not have been known. I believe after his early acquisitions Hitler stated he had no intentnios to expand Germanies borders - and people were all too happy to try and believe that.

I see this mentioned in the stretgy guide, yet I don't understand why. If you're units have a direct line to major city isn't this unnecessary?
