got mine today in uk-somerset-must get off computer so hubby can install it

thanks mike t hubby is now happy.he does have a whole disk of mods from various sites that still works.concerning the virus -i caught it before nortons updated.nortons then cleared infected files but is unable to remove the execute file for the worm as it had activated,no amount of anything would shift it.if only it had updated a couple of hours earlier i would have been ok and nortons would have sent it to oblivion.MIKET IS GOD,rachel

husband is in a mess as we got the blaster virus before nortons updated and had to perform a restore.had his stuff saved to disc but must be faulty as it cannot read one of them.he thinks someone(mike t)is redoing cmmos for cmbo.please tell me if this is correct as he is extremely pi**ed off and is continually whining and whinging(like a 5 year old)thanks,rachel

hi,my computer crashed and my husband spent about two months restoring his mods.needless to say i need to make a copy of my cmbo folder in case of emergency.i have cd creator and i possess 700mb cd-r discs.however file is huge and i cannot even fit bmps on one disc.can anyone tell me how to write the discs so i have a full backup-in basic language please.rachel

changed internet security and privacy first but failed to download.then tried bulldogs solution and download started at which husband started leaping round the room with joy.the merriment was shortlived as it completed half the download and then goes fatal.please put husband out of misery before i shoot him and tell me if there is another link or if there is something else i can try,cheers,rachel

cancel the panic have managed to get it to work-husband still not happy as has two week project re installing all his mods for both games.

had really nasty virus and had to do a system restore.have got my .exe folder changed to BtoB,but for some reason it still cannot find it.it worked last time so what is going on-my hubby will not stop moaning,especially as he has lost all his mods and is having to start from scratch

well your theory is good but i have a small problem.it doesn`t work.i do all the above no problem but nothing appears in the selector.however when i select the option of barbarossa to berlin i get a message telling me to locate and select barbarossa to berlin.exe from the cmbb install folder which is absolutely nowhere on my computer which probably explains why the mod selector cannot locate it either.please help my husband is driving me nuts

cancel the last post, i had a mess around in control panel and actually managed to change to 4x.hooray it worked so now my husband will stop moaning about his inability to read the writing.unfortunately he can now play more than one mission so i cant get on computer when he has to reloads or quit in between missions.

system is as follows-pentium 4 processor 1.5 gh-direct x 8 and geforce2 mx 400-my screen does not go black but writing corrupts after a game.also if you suggest altering settings give it to me in idiot english otherwise im lost

you are not alone-have got exactly the same problem.have not fiddled with settings have only tried new drivers which solve problems on other games i have, but has not sorted cm problem
