  1. I've seen this brought up in several posts but can't find it on my Battle list. I gather it's with the demo. Where can I get it? Yhanks.
  2. Actually, there's a fine list of Canadian wargame developers: Hubert, John Tiller and Frank Hunter, off the top of my head. I also consider Strategy First to be the premier retail publisher.
  3. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Baltic states. After Poland, you can take them with i air and 2 land units in two turns, while you take Denmark. This is with historic Russian settings. I'll see what happens with Russia on random.
  4. I would only add that many of the UK and US capital ships were built for the First World War (eg Hood and the several BBs raised and repaired from Pearl Harbor) and upgraded over the decades. They did pretty good service. Germany, OTOH, had to start from scratch in 1933.
  5. Good idea. The editor just needs a "Joim Axis" for Allies countries and complete change of victory conditions, I think these changes would be major.
  6. Doghouse, You might want to consider it customer service. I saw no gamekillers in the original.
  7. Let's just say the casualties the Germans would have taken underlined the positives of leaving Switzerland alone.
  8. In reply to the credible Axis end-game - if you mean total victory , no. The Axis must win quick. However, a "moral" victory is possible by delaying the inetivable. The AI can do that.
  9. Here's a little chrome for an upgrade: British commandos - After France falls, Britain can build a limited, capped number of commando points to nip away at Axis MMPs slightly. They wouldn't be units: success would be measured against their strength versus German strength in occupied countries. They could tie down both points and forces.
