Well, I'll just throw my two cents in here as well. I went out and bought the SE edition yesterday. I've owned the Internet edition for about 2 years now. I've never downloaded all of the user made mods because of a crappy slow 56k connection and NO PATIENCE! I happily forked over the 30 clams for all of the mods even though I already owned the game. I look at it as supporting BTS and BFC so they can continue to make the awesome software that they do. I plan on snatching up CMBB when it hits retail later this year as well!

This may be a dumb question, but where do we sign-up for ROWIII??? BTS, my moola is waiting to be spent!!! When oh when can I buy CM:BB?????

The only way I'll play a quick battle is if the computer picks the forces...otherwise, forget about it! My hat is off to all of you FINE scenario designers out there! Not only are you giving me SUPREME enjoyment from CMBO, but you're teaching me a bit of history as well! Bravo! Sir_Elgnid out!

Wow, thanks Ligur (that's LIE-GRRR, correct? from Zoids? ) I appreciate the info. I want to get a few more scenarios under my belt and then it's time to look for some human opponents. Surprisingly, I haven't had to unlearn too much from the old Steel Panthers days. That's probably because I sucked at that game! Anyway, to one and all, thank you for the warm welcome and all the great information!

Hmm, well I just got the game, and I've only played the AI once (the tutorial scenario without reading the manual). The AI didn't impress me as my 2 Shermans knocked out both Panzers fairly quickly with turret hits and my infantry simply mopped up after that. I'm a newbie to CMBO there is no doubt. Depending upon time constraints, count me in.

Hi all, I FINALLY upgraded the old 486 to a new AMD 1 Ghz and you know CM was going to be one of the first software purchases! Quick question: My CD has version 1.12 on it and it looks GREAT! Do I need any graphical MODS??? I know these are "depends upon your preference", but I was just wondering if the community suggests "MUST HAVE" MODS? I've only been able to play a few of the smaller scenarios so far, but I must say those Panzers and Shermans look great to me!
