  1. If any of you wants a to fight a really fun CMFI battle against the AI, Men with Suspicious Hats, played as the German FJs against the AI was a blast. Some of my pics here are from that battle and reminded me of it.
  2. Thank you! I use the "All in One" modpack for all my titles so it probably is some mod for the FJs. I don't think I tinkered internally too much with the modpack and Italy. I do always adjust my UI so it's pretty much identical in all of the games, most of it JuJu's I think. I do think I am going to check and change the faces for Italy though. They are not near as distinct as they show in CMRT. However, I really like this shot, regardless. The final pic and the other of the PzIV are indeed Venafro. As well as the pics of the FJs running across the rubble strewn street. That was a PBEM from some time ago. I was the Americans and uh...I did not do well. Took some nice combat photographs though! My name is actually Michael by the way. I don't think I've ever mentioned it here.
  3. And finally, full circle back to Russia. Inspired by @quakerparrot67 and your series of close-ups.
  4. Look what the cat dragged in... Syria. A hazy shade of winter...
  5. Thanks and appreciated! These are great shots too. I've been super busy lately but all of you guys have inspired me...
  6. Nice one Chuck! I've run out of likes for the day so I had to say it instead.
  7. I'm here! Just have been busy, checking in but no time to post. Haha! As stated, these last two pages have just had excellent pics all around! Rob, your closeups have been really cool and different!! I like em a lot.
  8. This was my comparison... This was taken on Sept 19, 1862, two days after the battle of Antietam. These are probably Starke's Louisiana soldiers along the Hagerstown turnpike. Miller's Cornfield is just on the other side of the fence on the other side of the pike, to the right. These soldiers were most likely killed by either Doubleday's New Yorkers or by regiments of the Iron Brigade. Now.
  9. Thanks! CM pics do look taken from a graphic novel, honestly. I prefer that layer of insulation though. People complain about the graphics but anymore realistic and it might just be too much. I do like to take pictures IRL and feel I am pretty good at it. Never took any classes or anything but just like doing it on my own. I consider myself an amateur Civil War historian and have taken many many pictures across the old battlefields all over Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, etc. It's kind of been my hobby over the past 20 years or so. I take pictures of interesting things I see all the time though.
  10. And these from the upcoming "Tiger Trail" campaign by @Mr.X This reminds me of a Brady or Gardner picture from the US Civil War of the Louisianans, lying dead, along the Hagerstown Pike next to the Cornfield at Antietam.
  11. Some recent additions. PBEM'ing "Deep Raid" from the @George MC battlepack.
  12. Hey! I just wanted to let you know I dl'd and installed the newest All in One and that fixed my missing roof texture so thank you! Also, have to say the new modpack is just all around excellent as usual. Much appreciate your time and work! It's really nice to have that one little nagging black roof weirdness finally fixed. The new shaders look really good too.
  13. This is excellent. I'm really looking forward to this too! I'm actually on battle 2 of "Five Days One Summer" and am playing a PBEM of "Deep Raid", both from @George MC and the awesome BP. So far Deep Raid had been epic. I'm the Soviets and this one just feels so ENTIRELY east front. I don't want to say anything more... How I love my Emchas!
  14. Most excellent. I really dig the first and last one particularly.
  15. Yeah, I REALLY like this one too. Like your other tank rider pic where I could literally feel the wet cold, this one oozes atmosphere also.
  16. Haha! Well thanks! And the Tele neck is just butter to me... Nope, no wah! I do also have a Boss Katana that can get really loud and do all kinds of things, wah included, but I just so much prefer that analog tube sound with the Tele. Same reason I love the analog pedals on it too, and also on the SG. No, no real Angus Young phase, Black Sabbath would be more apropos. I grew up in Chicago, very much in the punk rock scene and played in it back in the day. Back then Gibson's were the end all be all and I absolutely loved Minor Threat and then Fugazi, of which Ian MacKaye pretty much exclusively played an SG. I went through a couple Epiphone SGs but never could afford a real one. Now that I'm older I can get those things occasionally so a few years back I decided to get a real American made SG and since all my old ones I used to have were red I went with black this time. It's a honey too, honestly, and really nice when I want that humbucker sound. I'm gonna get it re-set up again and have them put .09s on it like my Tele. Right now it's got .10s but I really want to go a bit lighter. Through the vox with the Rat and the Big Muff it can get heavy af.
  17. Totally agree, and SAME (but I'm only 52 so you have a few years experience on me ). I've been playing these since the beginning and there is nothing that comes remotely close. Also an OG wargamer and still do play some tabletop stuff but my veins pump CM blood. All my screenshot pics are merely love letters to BFC. Thanks team for the literal thousands of hours of entertainment you have given me over the years.
