  1. Yes, Göring was fat, but not as fat as some of the people who post here.
  2. I always thought that the German tanks were not matching up to the Soviets because of the short barreled PanzerIV, isn't that why they started arming the PanzerIV with 75mm starting with either ausf. F1 or F2.
  3. Schrullenhaft, Thanks, I thought I knew alot about computers, but you take the cake. Where did you learn all this stuff?
  4. Ok, this is my problem. My previous computer was a Packard Bell, 64 Mb, 333 mHz Cyrix. One day I installed an update patch for the Sudden Strike game. When I rebooted I noticed that my CDROM drive letter was no longer visible in Explorer (let alone any other program). My CDROM drive was effectively done, and it wouldn’t reinstall. When I formatted my drive and reinstalled windows the CDROM worked through the whole install but dissapeared again when I did the final reboot in the installation. How can I get my CDROM back? Also keep in mind I added a new CDROM after the other was not showing (I destroyed it trying to take the CD out), so it does it with new CDROM’s too. Now I want to connect my old and new computer for head to head play, but one is broke.
  5. Mabey the driver was trying to take advantage.
  6. How do I find out what chipset I have? Or is it just Pentium 4. Where do you download new chipset drivers.
  7. I feel CMBO is not running like it should considering the equipment I have. Pentium IV 1.7 Mhz Processor 256 RAM Windows 98 (2nd Edition, Win XP annoyed me so I installed 98) Nvidia GeForce2 400 MX 64 MB (blah, blah, blah) I recently installed the latest Nvidia driver (their terminator, or whatever it is called driver) What I am experiencing is the occasional stutter. I will be gliding across a map when it jumps or gets choppy for a second then continues. This happens at any height on the map and also affects the sounds. It kid of skips. Any sollutions?
  8. Ok, perhaps this guy was sending his Puma (which I always use as recon myself) to scout out the flank. He just scouted too far. Remember, don’t always assume to know what the opponent is doing.
  9. Where did they get the info relating to an MG42 crew being 6??? The typical crew for a light MG would be 3. The three crew were referred to as Shutz 1, Shutz 2, and Shutz 3. As for ammo, typically most of the squad would help with the burdon of ammo, but they were not counted as part of the crew. I am unsure whether the number would increase if it were a heavy MG, but even then the mount and sights would be the only additional equipment. That could easily be carried by one of the three.
  10. The shiney buckles were made out of aluminium. Both the SS and the Heer had them. I am not sure about the SS using anything other than the aluminum, but the Heer had the steel and Aluminum.
  11. Can someone give me a breakdown on the whole CMMOS thing? Everytime I download it I end up going back to CM Mod Manager because I can't get the operation of CMMOS. Like how to add new mods to the list, or lets just say how to use it at all. I'm so pitiful.
  12. Actually the vehicle you are talking about is the Panzerwerfer42. It was an Opal Blitz mounted on a Maultier chassis. It had a completely closed on rear with a rear door and upper deck for loading the 10 tubes. It was not an SdKfz. 251/1. It did have a similar slanting armor features of the 251/1 though. I heard they were great at playing hell. Great mobility, fast fire and go. Basically they were a nebelwerfer on an armored truck. If not pic is below try the link: Panzerwerfer 42
  13. You guys are silly, I have a Packard Bell with a 333mHz Celeron processor, and 64 Mb of RAM. CMBO runs fine and smooth.
  14. I also reenact German Infantry. It is very fun and very expensive.
  15. Don't worry about the silly 1.12 patch, your new game will arrive as version 1.12. Mine did.
  16. After the release of CM2 is there going to be patches available to update CM1 with the advancements and changes to CM2. There is nothing worse than two similar games with play/rule differences.
