Hello everyone. Over the weekend, I purchased a book called "RHINELAND 1945" I found cool ideas for scenarios and all of that, Great for that kind of thing, but guess whats more surprising. Apparently, not all the Sturmtigers were on the Eastern front. Heh heh. One such Sturmtiger was found abandoned after using up its ammunition, it was found on the 28, february 1945 during the US 9th armys advance. So why did BTS use the Sturmtiger in CM: B2B instead of both? Probably because this was the only one ever used on the Western Front or its just that they forgot.... P.S. I highly reccomend this book, for scenarios, maps and tons of info on the advance into Germany, : Written by Ken Ford, its a Osprey, and its ISBN is:1 84176 276b, and its called "The Rhineland 1945" -Niles "Fieldmarshall" HIrschi [ 07-02-2001: Message edited by: niles ]

As some of you may know I have recently published two articles (Volksgrenadier, StuG III) at Manxs Combat Missions along with numerouse scenarios. Well, for my next article I am torn between two things: The Volkssturm, or the Gerbirgsjager, now, I want the peoples opinion including yours Manx, because you will be the second person to see it, so I would value your opinion aswell, thanks for the feedback, NO GETTING OFF SUBJECT! (P.S. I will try to get pics in for the next one) -Niles "Fieldmarshall" Hirschi

There is a scenario at Der Kessel called Fatherland by Mensch. In the Briefing it mentions that you are to buy time to allow a German force in a town east of Ostburg to build up the town was called Heimblick and I have made a scenario for the sequal of Fatherland. If you want it E-mail me, Of course Mensch will be mentioned as the idea grew from his brain, -Niles "Fieldmarshall" Hirschi

Hey mensch just played Fatherland and a great scenario. But I remeber reading in the briefing about the villiage of Heimbleck with a bridge and so on. Well I was thinking why don't you make a sequal to fatherland the fight a Heimbleck (mentioned in the General Briefing) just a thought anyway.. -Niles "Fieldmarshall" Hirschi

I heard about four CMS: CM: BO --(Late Western Front) which everyone has CM: BB -- (Russian Front) CM : 3 -- Early War (France, Poland, Czecoslovakia) CM: 4 -- Mediteriannian front--Balkans, Greece, North Afric and Italy, The above are not all in particular order but those are the ones I heard BTS would be releasing, now I just wanted to know if there would be a Pacific CM but I would understand if not because the Pacific went on from 1931 (invasion of Manchuria) to 1945 and over a major scope of terrain, but in any case do you think that there will be a PACIFIC CM ? And any thoughts on a WORLD WAR ONE Combat Mission? -Niles "Fieldmarshall" HIrschi

I have had the EXACT problem and it really really tict me off for weeks. The only thing I was able to do was this: (If you have saved games or homemade scenarios, send them to their own file for now.) Okay here is what you do, go to my computer (assuming you have windows) then open the CM file from the C: drive or whatever and find all of the files and click copy when they including the CMBO .exe file, then after you press copy go to the desktop create a new folder called CMBO or whatever then go into the file and right click and then press "paste" all folder will be coppied, then cut and paste your scenarios to the saved games. Then when you download the patches/mods etc. send them here: C:\windows\desktop\CMBO\BMP or for the patch C:\windows\desktop\CMBO then you should be all set hope this helps.. -Niles "Fieldmarshall" Hirschi

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone could recomend a good 1945 scenario, if they could please tell me where I could get it or send it to me via link\e-mail thanks -Niles "Fieldmarshall" Hirschi

I know there has been alot of hype about the Sturmtiger and so on, so I went out over the weekend and bought a book on German armor black projects, It mostly was about the Sturmpanther, the Monster Maus and the Sturmtiger. And I relize that not a single damned Maus saw service let alone finish testing, BUT I was just wondering how many here would like to see a Maus in CM:BO or CM:BB. Apparently the varient that went onto early testing had two barrels, a 15cm KwK 44 gun and a 7.5cm KwK, now honestly who here would rather have a double barreld, 33 ft long tank in their arsenal? I mean THIRTY THREE FEET! You could run over a sherman, but any way I just want to know would you rather have: Sturmtiger Sturmpanther Monster Maus All Three Give your feedback and thanks -Niles "Fieldmarshall" Hirschi

Pershing vs. Super Pershing
niles replied to Warren Peace's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
NO NO it wasn't faster, it had a smaller urrte so it could still be light and maintain its present speed, the smaller turret was to compinsate for the longer barrel. -Niles -
Just curios, does anyone know if George Wilson author of If You Survive is he still among the living? -Niles "Fieldmarshall" Hirschi

Pershing vs. Super Pershing
niles replied to Warren Peace's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Actually Pershings were probably the least produced American tank to enter service, other than the Grant <===Crappy tank but I love the way it looks
