  1. Unlike our good friend Becket, who just posted in the old Thread. </font>

Enough planes and artillery are in there to satisfy the most molten-TNT-crazy nerk. I've playtested it against the AI on a few occasions (even reaching turn 90 before collapsing in exhaustion) and I'm currently playtesting it TCP/IP against a chum. We are up to turn 32 and my resounding defence is causing him to squeal. A single dug-in HMG-42 has halted the infantry advance on an entire flank - the better part of two companies so far - and a well-placed 50mm AT gun has knocked out 1/4 of the attacking tanks on the other flank (4 out of 16). Unfortunately, his strafing aeroplanes are carving up my meagre reinforcements and my ammunition is running at critical. It's a great scenario.
  3. Axe - sorry to hear about your Gran. She sounds like a real character. For those who give a stuff: I expect lots of hot PBEM death when CM:AK comes out. I have already planned to convert Inferno and Cheery Waffles to CM:AK but you can look forward to pure evil in Scenario form to roll out from under my purple hood. My final CM:BB Scenario should be due for release to The Scenario Depot sometime in the next week. Alpine Summer weighs in at 120 turns and 44,000 points (total). It's fantastic. Ever wanted to lead 2 Regiments of Russian infantry on the attack?
  4. I sheathe my pork sword in the feebly protesting bodies of my opponents.
  5. If I felt that strongly about it, I'd cancel my order and go to the shops. I don't, but I do find it irksome. Like you said - it's not going to make any difference, so why a private email?

  8. I see. So you're of the opinion that people shouldn't voice their gripes. No, it's not the end of the world. No, I'm sure they didn't do it deliberately. The train I was due to catch on Tuesday made me 20 minutes late for a meeting to secure a business contract. The train was late due to a faulty signal. I know that the train company didn't do it deliberately, and I know it isn't the end of the world. However, I'm still paying for a product or service and that gives me a right to express an opinion over the provision of that product or service.

  19. Well, I've ordered direct from BFC, but it turns out that one of my main reasons, the groovy manual, has been discarded so there will be a slimline manual for CM:AK. Still, I've ordered, and that's that.
