Maybe. I'm hearing conflicting views on what the colour they were. My tiger is going to have a nice big swastika flag on the back if I ever get around to finishing that. I have so much stuff half done it's not even funny.

So you've hit ground targets with flak? That's against the Geneva Convention! wink.gif

btw: my flak couldn't hit the broad side of a flying barn.

  3. The major drawback to German TD's is that they're all turretless. Scoot that hellcat down the side of that jagdtaiger and there's not a damn thing that guy can do about it.

I put up a low-res Universal carrier mod; am currently working on high res - Hussar, or anyone, do you know much about Canadian paint schemes? The Wasp Carrier I inspected from the Guthrie collection, as well as most softskins in his collection, were more brown than green. The Mickey Mouse camo on your Sexton was used by the Brits, and I think also by certain Canadian vehicles types - the Sexton may have been one of them - but was the Mickey Mouse as common as brown? Any idea?

That pic doesn't work for me, and i was working on a universal carrier mod, but i haven't been able to find any pics of it, so I just made it solid black and added some Ram Roo' insignia onto it. Doesn't look half bad either.

No, it may say that in the address line, but it's not.

The thing I really hate is when you unload several 105mm shells into the ice and it doesn't break. This is really unrealistic. And being as there will probably be a lot of ice in CM2, do you think you could implement this?

    <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

It's just really really really really thick ice.

Looks great. Is the red and white patch a Canadian flag? If so, will it look better in the game?

    <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

No, it's not. The Candian Flag didn't even exist back then.

Time for some more vehicles - this time it's the turn of the big Allied uber-tanks - the M26 Pershing, and T26E4 Super Pershing.

IYO, what's the right way to use, tactically, these vehicles on the the CM battlefield?....and just as importantly...what's the wrong way?.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the SPW250-251 discussion yesterday. These comments have now been added to the site. Remember you can always send in comments via e-mail on the COMBAT MISSIONS site.

Tatics eh? Other than drive it up a hill, watch the Germans bounce shells of it, have a tiger try to flank it, but the tiger's turret is to slow, so it brew's up at the hands of a pershing's fast turret, then roll it down the hill and kill everything in site?

It may sound like a silly question, but what the heck.

What is the difference between artillery fired from a vehicle or that fired from a stationary position (like a cannon).

Does it have to do maybe with the actual propellant that makes the shell fly, or what?

    Just wondering.

    Murph<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

SP guns can move around fast. Guns are stationary or pathetically slow

I have made a Carpiquet scenario based on allied aerials photographs
