  1. I would like to say...ähm, sing....ähem, hear... the "PANZERLIED" in the arabian version! this rocks! greetings from germany Jochen
  2. Yes, this happend to me, too! Grrrrrr..... BTW, even in the german version - (you know, how upset i was ), a good....a very good game!
  3. Hi all! A few weeks ago i said "goodbye" to BTS - cause i was so angry and disappointed about this CDV-deal for european customers. Of course, i apologize for my harsh words - and of course i was looking still every day into this forum! With all my respect and love for BTS - i don´t trust CDV - and it seems to me to be right. Maybe, the Deal with CDV is a proper oeconomical decision - and thats good for BTS and Combat Mission - but for me, it´s like a kick in the ... . EVERY GAME, i bought from CDV was worst supported, cut down in all those little things, so important for me to buy and play! I´m shure, this will be not the last moaning of the european CMBB community! Sorry for my bad english - but i will contact Agua to get my fun with this great game! Greetings vom Germany/Stuttgart Jochen Schmidt
  4. I don´t need an american friend to send me my copy of CMBB. I don´t need to buy CMBB via CDV. I don´t need to feel like an european asshole or better to say, like a child, wich see his wishes not fullfilled. I don´t need CMBB. Bye, bye
  5. Again! For me, the swastikas are not the point. It is CDV - i bought some games from CDV - believe me - nothing can be more frustrating. their support is a joke. Especially this copy-protection and all the other stuff. They are absolutely incompetent. Not in selling - in supporting. I don´t like them - and for the worst, i don´t like to be forced to wait for european patches, while the US-people have the newest immediatly. BFC should earn the money they like to earn. I am not interested in - i am interested in having the fun with CMBB - and i can only repeat - with the original versions of games (in most cases the US one) i had never problems. With localized versions - it was nearly everytime frustrating. I DON`T WANNA HAVE FRUSTRATION WITH CMBB!!!!! All my hope was in ordering via Internet like i did with CMBO. And now this news.... i have to calm down...really, i have to calm down. Thats the reason for posting here - i know, that BFC won´t change their decision - but i have to say my opinion here before i gonna explode.
  6. Heinz 25th Panzreg said the right words. This hits my question!!!! It is not a question of nazisymbols - CMBO didn´t need this and CMBB will not need it - the problem for me is: I´m happy it CMBB could sold to the masses. For this reason a deal with CDV is o.k. and useful. I don´t have the right to tell Steve or Charles anything about their commercial plans - and i don´t want to do so. It´s their business and they know what to do. But, as a hardcore wargame player i like to have the original accurate stuff in my game - and believe me, you won´t get the original, accurate stuff in a localiced version in germany. This makes me angry - i wanna have the game with all the good stuff - o.k., so i will order it via Internet directly from BTS.... but not so here. This makes me more than angry- perhaps the localized version will be good, perhaps further patches will arrive in time - but i have my experiences with all those localized games - i order every game i like via Internet or always the original US/UK version. Especially with my farvourite wargamedream CMBB - i couldn´t do so. You can´t imagine what this means to me - it would be the same like send us european forummembers back to the CDV-Forum in Germany....many, many thanks for it.
  7. I can´t believe this!!! So even here the times are gone, to buy a game via Internet from a small, intuitive company wich individual support was a new experience for me. the time is gone, to avoid such companies like CDV - don´t get me wrong, but i´m so disapointed i can´t say how... I loved to have that flair, when CMBO came from the US to me. I felt independet of all that German ****, i have to face everyday here - i´m no nazi i am only a wargamer - and so i wanna have the full version, the original version. I was proud to see, that CMBO wasn´t on the shelfs - for me this was this "ah, there is a baby growing"-feeling. Now the baby has grown up and the deal is, that i have to face again all those restrictions i have in every localized version of good game here in germany. Moon, thanks a lot for your answer ....but, i can´t believe it, and i don´t wanna be forced to spend any EUro to CDV - i hate them. I know, that BTS has a deal with them, and don´t get me wrong, i like to see BTS earn their money...but, i´m so disappointed to see, that it is not possible to order CMBB via Internet - This is really odd!!!! If i´m forced to buy it at CDV - for me, CMBB is not the game i waited for...i want to buy the US version - without any localized sh.. . Give us (europeans), give me back the possibility to decide where to buy this game! (excuse my bad english again, please)
  8. Hi MOON! First of all - many greetings from Germany, Stuttgart. It has been a long time, that i didn´t post anything here, but, as you all can see - a CMBO-Player will find back to the place where everything starts. (i remember the days, when CMBO was discussed in this great forum, when i was waiting like a little child to get he full version via Mail from USA.) Well, CMBO didn´t vanish from my HD for all this time...and as i can see, CMBB will be released very soon - great news! My question is - for further patches - will we, as european users, have to wait for localised patches, or will there be universal patches independet by localisation?? (Sorry, my english is not the best) I don´t wanna wait every time, a knew patch comes out, for a localised version. If this is the case, i will order CMBB direct via Internet. Dear Moon, it would be very kind to answer me - i´m looking forward to hear from you!)) Greatings to all here!
  9. Well, i ordered the Demo of Sudden Strike for PC CD-Rom. It came for DVD. I read about: "Panzerfaustgrenadiere", "Ingenieure" and some other very realistic words. I knew then, that there is no "love" for wargames, or better to say - a poor localisation, earn money with people, who wanna play quick wargames and don´t care about "realistic - games". Btw, there have been no "Panzerfaustgrenadiere" - Panzergrenadiere used to have Panzerfausts with them, the word "engeniers" means "Pioniere". Again - i think, both companies (BTS and CDV)will make a good business. But, with all respect, Sudden Strike is a nice gamy game, no "realistic" one - but, is this important for CMBO sales? Gretings from Germany Jochen Schmidt
  10. To tell the truth.... It´s a good decission to have salespartner. But, i was shocked to see, that it is CDV. The good thing is, that BTS has a perfect product with Combat Mission. I would say, it is the only one, CDV can offer. ALL OTHER GAMES (Sudden Strike, Cossacks...) have a lot of problems, very aggressive forums, where the buyers are very, very disappointed about support, patches and the community itself. I don´t trust CDV at all! I bought Cossacks - it´s a shame how you are treated. No patches - only ADDONs for money, with the same bugs as in the beginning. But CDV is still shouting about reality, greatness, perfect customer support and so on, and so on. Well, in this case CMBO could only help CDV - and help BTS to sale more copies. Greetings from Germany Jochen
  11. Hi again! Thanks a lot for your answers. This book is about the sPzAbt. 502, who was sometimes under command of several Divisions. Yes, it was also a part of the LAH. So, this could be the reason, that there are 99 shells/grenades in the PZ VI E. Another strange thing is, that the author often describes, that the tanks are driving into/trough forests. Well, perhaps those forests in russia are most (i don´t know the english word now, but in german it is "Birkenwälder". Will this be simulated in CMBB? Are those trees less stable to tanks? All in all, this book isn´t a great one, i have the feeling that sometimes the author writes about things, he didn´t know. But, very intersting, he had personally contact to some Tank-aces like Bölter, Jaehde, comrades of Wittmann.... . O.k., looking forward to some grognard-answers. (sorry for my lausy english) Many Greetings from Germany Jochen
  12. Hi all, again! Yesterday i read a book, titled "The Tigers are comming!", it is new release, concentrated to the Tiger-Tank (PZ VI E) at the east-front from 1942-1945. There is written, that the Tiger E has 99 grenades as ammunition store - well, i didn´t play CMBO for a long time now, (but it is still on my HD, and i will play again soon), so i don´t know the number of AT/HE-shells, but is this number correct??? Any answer would be very kind! (i´m in the office now, so i can´t have a look by myself). Greetings from Germany Jochen
  13. I my god! Where was/is the intellegence service of the USA??? I´m really shocked.....really. Someone has to pay for this. Best regards from Germany - my heart is with you all. Jochen
  14. Since CM:BO is out, i´m dreaming off this moviething. I hope that it will be included. But, ähm, wouldn´t it be easily possible, to give us the westallied troops and tanks (of June 1944 to April 1945) in CM:BB? So it would be possible to play the westfront with the new programm. greetings to all Jochen
