Salkin this is good news was there a post about increasing combat ranges??

As long as it isn't starforce I am happy. Pleasue keep your protection schemes clean and non hardware damaging:)

WW2OL is fps where you drive and gun the tank, you man the Bren gun, fly the plane. TOW is more external views but apparently you can zoom quite close to eye level sort of a 3rd person view

TOW looks loaded with character graphic wise. Put me down 1 copy please . Hoping for quick mission builder that is one feature I loved about CM.

The marriage of BFC and 1c should provide a decent number of units moved. From prior posts in other fourms here many of the core WW2 fans were disappointed with BFC choice of SF and not WW2 era game as a follow up to the Combat Mission series, TOW will surely satisfy them. Put me down for 1 copy

Would it be possible for screens of the various squads (infantry) units to be posted. Would love to see the variety of the typical squad in all their glory. Does TOW have Commando, Para as well as Infantry? I know Matt is preparing a unit list. Time to dig into the forum and gather as much info as possible. This is indeed great news.

Very amusing little video.

No Balkans, Italy or Africa. Doh! Maybe as an addon. Pretty please.

I remember ages ago in a CMBB I had some russian 12.7mm DSHk's take out an early PZ IV. The particular version of Pz IV had very poor vision slot protection.

Exactly MikeyD that is part of the question. CM1 had visually abstracted squads and the hand to hand combat is also abstracted. SF is ramping up the detail in one to one units and speed of action that is real time.
