Nice clip Mark. A team of well motivated ATGM's is a wicked threat on the battlefield to Mech forces.. Love my Javelin teams the same way they are so deadly on any heavy force if positioned properly.

As a heads up while installing patch 1.21 I was getting errors that it could not find the exe. The Eset was quarantining the exe. I had to add an exclusion for CM Shock force.exe which I never had to prior. It was maddening lol but I did figure it out and 1.21 is now installed.
The steps I did were disable the Eset anti virus and then restore from quarantine the CM Shock Force.exe that gave a false positive. Then in Eset advance setup antivirus add an exclusion for CM Shock Force.exe. Reinstall patch 1.21 to be sure it all went in and then enable my Eset again. Success.
Time to fight the good fight. The Syrians will pay for the attempted bio warfare virus

Try a uninstall of all the ati drivers and a driver cleaner program to remove any traces of ATI stuff then a reinstall of the new 9.10 Kawabonga.

Tried the beta of ATI Catalyst 2.10 for xp and it "seems" like I am stable with no opengl crash on my ATI 4770 gpu. Whew. Just played an hour of a mission and it was loads of fun. Bring on the Nato pack

Thanks for the heads-up I enjoyed it as well. Agree Frankster the Afghani intel officer was interesting. A large part of the problem appears to be the Pakistani involvement.

Will we see BF makes this into a sim? and actually polish it? or are we getting basically the prior release localized>? Looking forward to this game for years but it seemed to not get the right push out the door.

Good flick. Think it was trying to capture the man on the edge type thing after defusing umpteen 100 IED. Didn't they say he has done like 800+ IEDs?

XP seems to be a bust for some of us ATI users ati 4770 xp-sp3.

For a good assortment of detail with maps photos and current info check out the Pen and Sword Battleground series and the Battle Zone Normandy series they have books on much of the campaign from d-day to breakout to closing the gap.
ABE is a great service I have had much success with the various resellers. Also check out powells books they have heaps of titles.

Kawabonga what version of ATI card do you have? Mine is a 4770 and it will not run the CMSF with the ATI Catalyst 9.3 atioglxx.dll. It seems there is a problem with 4770 as it is to new a chip. Perhaps you have a new ATI chip as well?

Spyre have they isolated the issue and are aware of the cause in relation to CMSF and the atioglxx.dll??

Tried the new Catalyst 9.8 drivers for xp 32bit in hopes there might be some solution the dll is over 12mb so something different alas a no go crash as usual with the 4770 within 5 minutes or so. My card runs furmark stability test opengl 2.1 at 1680 x 1050 under load for an hour plus solid.

Hi all I have done a complete uninstall of my ATI drivers and re-installed Catalyst 9.7 my os is win xp sp3, video card XFX 4770.
Crash with stock 9.7 see below

ModVer: 6.14.10.8787 Offset: 0062c8d8
Tried using the 9.3 atioglxx.dll in the cmsf dir per Kenjara instructions as well as modules and the game will not launch it just sits at desktop with no error but no cmsf. No joy. Not sure.

Hi Kenjara I placed the dll directly in the CMSF dir as you noted. It seems with that 9.3 atioglxx.dll when executing the cmsf executable I get no launch of cmsf and no error. The system32 dir I was refering to was the windows/system32 where the actual atioglxx is.

It would be neat if ammo supply could be maintained with a squad runner 1-2 men automatically when they reach x level. Right now I will manually split my squad and send them packing to a vehicle to re ammo up, then return them to the fray and then send the second split team to rearm if needed.
