  1. Everyone knows that the pie is a lie.

Edited to note that you should all play the "Courage and Fortitude" campaign, waltz through the first mission (hint: you have pioneers), and then try, just TRY to get through the second mission without hard liquor, screaming at your computer, and/or silent tears for your tiny pixeltruppen. It's not quite Rune-esque, but it's getting close. The scenario designer CLEARLY likes artillery. And then more artillery. And a bit more. Do we have enough artillery yet? I'm sure some more can't hurt. I know, let's add artillery! Everyone likes artillery. Too much is never enough. Oh dear, is the mission over already?

just finished Panzer Marsch and it was a hoot. Have been hesitant in trying Courage & Fortitude. Tell me, is it winnable?

  2. I, Hiram Sedai, being of very unsound mind do hereby challenge anybody and everybody to a game of CM:Norm with these stipulations:

    1. I return turns much much faster than I used to whether I'm winning or not

    b. I enjoy scenarios more than QB's but enjoy the occasional Small or Tiny QB

pie. I will do a Medium QB if there is plenty of clanky things

    42. There is a very good chance I will beat most of you like mouthy dirty stepchildren because I now play sober.

Know that none of you are really worth challenging individually because you have proven time and again that only one of you is MRPeng and I met MRPeng and you are no MRPeng.

    bring it, cupcakes

  3. Well Joe, where were you to defend me tonight when Michael Emrys (yes, THAT Michael Emrys who lorded over us) attacked me with what appeared to be Real Wit? And where the hell is the Cesspool these days?

I've been gone a long, long time, Joe. I almost got cleaned up, although I got in trouble once again on another forum this evening for attacking a witless knave who thought he could top THE Lawyer. But you know better... So where are you guys on the forum these days? Is Elvis still dead? Has Peng and/or Seanachai yet risen from the dead? Did any of you get a much needed brain transplant? Inquiring minds want to know...

Why do you seek him here? Do you not know? Have you not heard?

Peng has risen (in Pennsyltucky) just as he said.

  4. Hey I just thought I would tell you guys about The Few Good Men, it’s a small club with roughly 100 dedicated players. They have existed for about 8 years, i think, and have supported CM and Battlefront since they were formed playing BO, BB, AK, SF and now CMBN.

I like it there as there is a real community spirit.

They also do things like raffle games. They have raffled of something like 30+ games in the last year…!

The site also hosts a load of tournaments just now they are running the following:

    CMBN Ladder

    CMx1 Ladder

    AK/BB - The FGM Cup

    AK – Operation Huskey Campaign

    SF – Knockout Tournament

AK – Germany’s Last Push Tournament

AK – Last Man Standing Tournament

BB – The Spanish Civil War Tournament

    AK/BB – Battles of WW2 Tournament

    AK/BB – Domination

    AK – Island Wars Campaign

BB – Cross of Iron Competition

    AK – Kampfgruppe Tournament

As far as i know, soon there will be also a CMBN Tourney so stay tuned :)

Whats cool is that they actually award prizes, silver trophies etc for the guys that win these tournaments!

Apart from all that there is a great camaraderie around the site and as well as playing a bit of Armed Assault II online they have a great military discussion and photo section. There is also a scale moddeling corner. Anyone is welcome to join so if you fancy it pop over as Im sure you will be made more than welcome.

I heard somewhere that mostly good looking, talented and well endowed individuals sign up there.
