I had a Sherman 76mm and a Pzkw IVG kill each other with simultanious shots,which was cool,but the coolest part was when the German crew chased down the American crew and offed them! I mean how many other games would model stuff like that and still be the most realistic thing on the market? Awesome!

MJ I spent 10 yrs on active duty (Mechanized Infantry, not too much different from Armored Cav these days)and I can tell you that even if you are deployed on a UN backed mission you will be totally under local US control (from at least Division level on down) and that it is very unlikely that you will even actually talk a UN rep. much less take orders from one. The US military insists on C&C of it's own forces and being the big boy on the block probably will control the whole operation anyway.

The only way I've been able to actually knock out a bunker is with a lucky slit penetration from a 105mm Sherman and I've only done that once.(this afternoon actually!)

It's my belief that the M60 got it's bad reputation from modern GI's who were issued 20yr old weapons,(not an unusuall situation),add to that the fact that the M60 doesn't fire blanks very well(most soldiers fire far more blanks than live rounds in a typical enlistment)and you have the recipe for a bad rep. Personally I thought it was a great weapon.
