When are we going to see more scenarios and operations for CM? The mods are a great additon but I personally would like to see more scenarios and operations.

I think the next CM should cover the first world war. That way we can command german troops with those cool spiked helmets!

I downloaded the mdmp mods from the combathq web site but i cant get them too work. I extracted all the .bmp files into the bmp folder but the game refuses to detect them. Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem?

Ok I downloaded the winter camo mods but there not working on the snow battles. am I supposed to remove the older .bmp files that contain the older uniforms or somthing?

Based on books i have read I know that the US army gave alot of pump action shotguns to the resistance movements in Europe.AS for the US and british armys using shotguns I think they probally did. The US army has been using shotguns in war since the revolutionary war so i dont see why they wouldent use shotguns in ww2.

When you look at the casualty figurs for Germany and Russia you imediataly get an idea of the kind of fighting that took place on the eastern front. What a wast of men on germanys part.

CM has more than once gotten in the way of my school work. I play it almost every day though the AI can be as dumb as a turky somtimes.

I agree with you on the fact that germany couldent defeat Russia. Even if they did defeat Russia Germany didnt have the manpower or resorces to occupy such a huge country.
Just imagin how many divisions germany would have had for the normandy invasion if they haddent Invaded the Soviet Union.

One reason why Germany beat France so quickly can also be contributed twards the fact that France put too much faith in the magino (not sure if it is spelled right) line. French generals concluded that the arddens region was too heavly forested for tanks to pass through so they concluded that the german army would have to directly attack the magino line.The germans did however attack through the arddens and belgium,and holland with the succesfull use of paratroopers.Thus flanking the magino line and attacking it from the rear not too mention trapping several thousand french and british troops around Dunkirk.
