Diceman; Actually I had known alot of WW2, thats why I gave the game a try. The funny thing is though, I learned more about the war from this game than from any teacher.....

I am also 15 years old and got intrested in WW2 when my grandpa would tell me stories about his flights in a b-17.He died before I got really intrested so I started to read books and play wargames. When I first heard of this game from computer gaming world I Imediatally bought it and Its the best wargame I have ever played period.

  3. Well I will have to agree with tiger on this one. Soviet test just cant be taken as always accurate.Who knows how they conducted their test they could just have taken a 100mm gun and shot it at the tigers hull at point blank range.which is enough to penetrate any armor even armor on todays tanks.

  4. I read the specs and this game looks like a first person shooter to me. One of my favorite games of all time besides CM has got to be MEDAL OF HONOR for the sony playstation. There is a sequel comming out this fall called MEDAL OF HONOR UNDERGROUND however both games are only first person shooters but they are both very good.

I'm a computer operator here at NORAD. When nobody's looking, I shut down the Los Angeles Missile defence grid and devote the entire mainframe to PBEMs. I currently have 373,454 games going simultaneously. Sometimes, on a slow day, I'll shut down Salt Lake City as well and play Diablo II. (who needs Utah?)

To my opponents -please zip your files. You keep crashing the system and leaving the entire free world defenseless while I reboot.

Hey tell your superviser if they will hire a 15 year old who is willing to work for miminum wage! WoW 373,000 games going at one time! I wish that were actually possible! biggrin.gif

  6. I have said this before I am very happy with the current AI.Its just that when i play the commputer I almost allways win. I will however praise the work of the programers who worked out such a difficult code too creat on of the best simulated AI i have ever seen. I just think that the commputer player AI could use a little uprgade too improve tactics when its trying to attack.

you are missing the point about the bible.

every christian child is taught in elementary school that you are NOT to read the bible

literally. Those are all metaphors etc. based maybe remotely on any actual events.

    I sez:

Maybe where you're from but around here (in Virginia in the USofA) all elementary school kids aren't taught that unless they're going to Sunday school and even then it depends on the church. There are plenty of churches, primarily the fundamentalists I believe, who do take the Bible to be the literal truth. Living in a state with not one but two well-known evangelists (Pat Robertson and Oral Lambert) I've run into a couple of them myself. I'm not a Christian myself although I was raised that way and I agree that the Bible is best taken metaphorically but, trust me on this I'm a Cardinal after all smile.gif, not everyone feels the same way.

I agree with cardinal unless your in anouther country I dont recall being taught anything about the bible in elementry school. However i do have friends that went to Chatholic school were they do teach teachings from the bible. If they taught the bible in american public elementry schools It would affend alot of parents whose kids are jewish or Islamic or some other difrent religion.
