Scenario design decisions: roadblocks
Waxx_IK replied to Tris's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Easy solution. Don't use roadblocks then. If it's absolutely necessary, make an alternate route. If there's just one route for vehicular advance, don't use the roadblock then. ------------------ Waxx<<<**IK**>>> shall live on! -

You know you're a CM addict when you always run across open areas without stopping for fear you might be tagged by a hidden MG team... ------------------ Waxx<<<**IK**>>> shall live on! -

The people that make the dolls are called 21st Century Toys, and they call them the Ultimate Soldier. I have 8 WWII dolls. 2 Fallschirmjager, 2 Wermacht, 1 3rd infantry guy, 1 Allied motorcycle rider, 1 British airborne guy. I have a motorcycle and a Kettenkrad. The level of detail on all of them is truly astounding. I like to make little stories with them, hehe...... ------------------ Waxx<<<**IK**>>> shall live on!

In Rune's A Matter Of Honor, I played axis. I saw an M10 raise its gun up to its maximum height and begin lobbing shells at a far off bunker. Needless to say, it didn't hit it, but it was neat to watch. Could that be considered indirect fire? ------------------ Waxx<<<**IK**>>> shall live on!

A question about Allied artillery
Waxx_IK replied to Scipio's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
From what my grandfather tells me, something similar was used in the Pacific Theater against Japanese kamakaze aircraft. They were called proximity fuses, I don't know if VT and proximity fuse mean the same thing though. -
Tell Shadow_1st_Hussars. He was kind enough to put my pics up on his site. I have to agree though, the text is very hard to read. Maybe a blue or green text? I dunno...Anyway, I'm looking for ideas. If you have any, email them to me. ------------------ Waxx<<<**IK**>>> shall live on!

Has anyone seen Airborne? You know, the guy that used to always say "Land soft, kill quiet"? Many people (including myself) have emailed him and gotten no reply. I'm starting to get worried. ------------------ I can't think of anything to put in the signature box. Will this do?

Follow this link which will take you into the CMHQ Chat System. http://cmhq.tzo.com:8000/ Click the the Load Chat Client button (do NOT select Use Lightweight client!!!)
