The people that make the dolls are called 21st Century Toys, and they call them the Ultimate Soldier. I have 8 WWII dolls. 2 Fallschirmjager, 2 Wermacht, 1 3rd infantry guy, 1 Allied motorcycle rider, 1 British airborne guy. I have a motorcycle and a Kettenkrad. From what my grandfather tells me, something similar was used in the Pacific Theater against Japanese kamakaze aircraft. They were called proximity fuses, I don't know if VT and proximity fuse mean the same thing though.
