I use Zonealarm, and as long as I have CM set to pass thru, I have not have any problems.

As in CMBO, MG ammo in CMBB is a total of all mg's on board, not for each specific one. It does however keep track of a different caliber separately, like the AA mg's of American Shermans.

I know, I know... it's one of the Easter eggs that was mentioned in one of the latest interviews with Steve. Yeah, that's it.

Pic 4 is known, and will be fixed in the next patch. Don't know about that flame though I suspect it's a video card issue.
-
Not in the game due to rarity, and difficulty of coding the multiple turrets. Been much discussed before. Try search under T-35 and Land Battleship.

As for reinforcements, you have to remember, the flag is just a marker. The units will appear around that marker, Not exactly on it. So unless you have the marker on a huge autobahn, you are going to have units off the road.

Hmm, you'd think if we got screwed over, we would not populate the forum as much as we do.

For a molotov to really work, it's got to it somewhere the flames can reach. Hitting an armor face with no interior opening won't do a lot, but hitting the rear engine deck will hurt.

First run ran out in Late Sept, shortly after release. I had to wait a week on backorder myself back then.Originally posted by Agua:I believe they've already gone through at least one previous lot of backorders with CMBB.

Do a search in the Tech Support forum on this one. The CDV version had some peculiarities. If you lived in North America, you should have just ordered the US version from the website. Much better deal.I have the European version that I found at Comp USA Saterday. I installed it twice and got error messages both times. I was wondering if maybe somethings were left out during the install. And off topic... any news on what's been done about those CDV copies being sold in CompUSA?

You don't upload them to this site. You upload them to a website, then post a link here.

You don't want the CDV version (which is what CompUSA is selling). You want the US version. Trust us.Originally posted by Sir Augustus:A comp usa store nearby?

From the time CMBO was released to CMBB was just under a year and a half. But then the game engine was already built. CMBB just required new vehicle models and changes to the code for new features and such. A completely new game engine would take longer I presume.

Not enough memory message may mean not enough free system RAM. Maybe try rebooting after downloading before installing the demo?

WW2 tanks did not have today's stabilized systems. Recoil could and did knock the aim off for consecutive shots. Secondly, German optics were better than Soviet. Again, that can be found by a search.Originally posted by momishuli:It happens too often that German crews score hits with their first shots (regardless of vehicle type ie. assault guns, tanks, spws etc). I know that German tanks had very good optics in comparison, yet within 500m range, such should be the case for Soviet vehicles, too, in my opinion. Yet, I have never seen it happen that at ranges beyond 200 Soviet tank can hit unless they shoot at least 3 times. Also, sometimes they miss after a succesful hit??? One would think, after a perfect line-up and range determination, they would not re-align?

The bigger scenarios will put the hurt on almost any current system, and the movie files are the biggest ones of course. Maybe turn down some of the graphic options during the previous turns so they are not saved in the file might help (ie Trees off, weather off, etc).

It fires a projectile which is basically a Molotov cocktail incediary grenade.
-
No way with this version. Campaign scenarios are built by a designer, so all forces are already purchased.
-
For a good example... think Kelly's Heroes. When the mine went off, they didn't continue strolling. All went down for cover, then they carefully (and slowly) picked their way through.

Well it looks like in the pic that it's about the size of a panzerfaust warhead. And those have a pretty good penetration, so I'm not surprised.

Yup, Peter Jackson said in an interview on the extended version that part 2 would NOT have a recap, and that people who were not familiar with the first movie could go out and rent it the week before Two Twoers came out. That being said, you also have to keep in mind that reviewers are brainless wankers who should all be drug into the streets and run over. I was reading a review of "The Two Towers" and the knuckle-draggin'-mouth-breather had the gall to bitch about the fact that there was no recap of the first movie. WTF? What literate individual has not read the LOTR series? Barring that, the friggin' movie was released LAST year. Hell, it was still playing in some theaters a month before "The Two Towers" came out. If you can't remember what happened in your life within the last calender year how the hell do you get through life? -
IIRC, shells themselves are hardcoded, but CMBB allows the colors of tracers to be modded, unlike CMBO where both were hardcoded.
more info:
A search under Tracer Mod will bring up several more threads about it.

There is no mod and never will be a mod for CMBB that will show turrets flying off. It is not a feature of the system. A Search will turn up quite a few threads on why it is not in the game.

I have that clip. It was posted here sometime last year. Pretty impressive.I don't know if it is publicly availible but there is a film of the new Javlin missile taking out a T-80. The missile was in pop up mode and comes in through the top of the turret. There wasn't much left of the tank when the smoke cleared.
why are there no civilians?

Ononehand, you may want to stick out your peepee so MadMatt can stomp on it.
Btw, have you posted this stupid question on other forums? I don't recall seeing civilians in MOH, or the Close Combat series. Or <gasp> in GI Combat. You might want to post this question there too you know. Can't leave them out.
