I've destroyed many Syrian tanks with arty in CMSF. I remember a few tanks destroyed by arty in CMx1, but it was a rare occurrence.

Ah, forget it. Those I most disagree with are the least worth having a discussion with.
Everything is fine and dandy and those that don't agree don't know what they are talking about. Move along, nothing to see here.
BFC have acknowledged that the current system is not ideal and they would like to improve it at some point. What more do you want?

I'm hoping several rounds from a Sherman 105 will still do some damage. Then there's the Brummbar and Sturmmorser.
-
Also, there is no quicksand in CMBN. The dead stay on the ground instead of sinking into it.
-
Well, if you recall CMx1, the tall buildings would be quickly knocked down anyway. I am really looking forward to the HE chuckers.

I doubt too many of the people who still only play CMBB/CMAK are gonna switch over honestly.
I wouldn't count on that. Many people stayed away from CMSF simply because the subject matter didn't appeal to them.

The only Flak I see in the TO&E is the 88mm. CMBO was infested with the 20mm.

Can we get a Fun option that can be toggled on and off?

It's starting to come up in this battle at the point so I'll cover it a bit more later. But, generally; bolt actions fire slower so that's good. Like CMSF, there is ammo resupply available.
Thanks for the reply and good to know resupply is included. But my main question is the ammo consumption rate compared between CM:BN and CMBO. I would assume it would be slower than CMSF simply because there are fewer automatic weapons.
-
Another ammo related question:
In CMx1 it only took a few minutes of fighting for an infantry squad to exhaust its ammo supply. In CMSF it seems like a squad can fire for quite a while before running out of ammo, even with automatic weapons (plus they can resupply). Does the ammo supply last longer in CM:BN? I realize it has not been an issue in this battle yet, but what about other scenarios you may have played? And (you may not be able to answer this) is there any resupply in CM:BN?

Maybe she needs a GPS.

I dont even know what that guy is holding and I probably modelled it
I just assumed he was playing Angry Birds on his iPhone.

Maybe the question is whether there will be kevlar trees in CMBN

Is that a challenge?

And real 3D. None of this simulated 3D crap. I want to have to duck when a Tiger turns its turret towards me.

I'm not sure how the QB system will work, but I think armored infantry will come with half tracks, but you won't be able to purchase HTs for regular infantry - maybe trucks.
-
OK, if you insist.

I never cared for night battles in CMx1. On board mortars were useless since the limited visibility was within their minimum range, plus it was difficult to view the screen.

Just use bad Nvidia drivers!

I hated it, at least the way it was implemented. A delay for a complicated order makes sense, but not for a simple command such as drive down that road, make a left at the crossroad, and keep going until you get to the farmhouse.
-
I'm not sure what you mean by on screen effects, but AA guns worked pretty well in CMx1.
-
I liked in CMx1 when all the vehicles MGs with AA mounts fired at the strafing aircraft. So no quad 50 half track, I guess.
A fun personal guess at CMBN's relase date

I expect the game to be released June 7, 2011.
