well just got done playing the caretan op. an it's ammazing the allies ever got off the beach...well not really but..as the german's those piecemeal attack's really take away from the later battle's..an another thing.. i know it was a hand drawn scenario ..an I really like it but...don't you think the allies would be better off if they concentrated on taking out the crossroad's A moron could beat this thing..but I have yet to play this thing with pbem...so if anyone think's they can do better......email me!

here's what you do go an download a registry cleaner there free so don't sweat it delete your driver's an then sweep your registry it'll delete all invalid entries from your previous driver file's thier's other thing's you can do but that should get you up an running -
make sure you delete the old driver's first do not try an overwrite over them.me I'm running a voodoo 3 2000 on a p2 4oo all details on an it run's without a hiccup
-
I personnaly am sick an tired of having to see corner's cut that keep a game from truly being outstanding just because some cheapskate refuse's and or keeping there cpu somewhere near below average an then you gotta here'm bitch about how slow it run's as well as what the game lack's as far as i'm concerned 128 mb should be minimum!

Arnhem & Tiger reinforcements?
Flipper replied to David Stone's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
well according to cornellius's ryan's book no one broke through frost's postion till he was virtually wiped out an there was a reference of a tiger tank hammering away at captain eric mackay's postion in the schoolhouse they even got a picture knockedout/thrown tread of one but....not sure if that was the near the schoolhouse any way it was a tiger II -

What is the movie "CROSS OF IRON" about???
Flipper replied to JOCHEN PEIPER's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
The beginning of the disoluisment of the average german soldier on the east front This particular movie one of my favorite's. Made by sam peckinpaw take's place on the kuban pennisula that's near the sea of azov south of rostov where the german's were cutoff and forced to retreat across the kerch' strait's into the crimea.Great film -
yeah you were right....an that is a cool web site thank's for pointing that out..have a nice day

There was an old italian movie were they declare war on the u.s bomb new york an then invade the capitol the worst part is where they attack the capitol building disguised as G.I's an the american soldier's sensing trouble say's to them "where do the cub's play?"...he replies in a thick italian accent .."cub?..err..umm cub is a bear!" a few machine gun shot's later all the GI's defending the capitol building are dead they then go into the capitol building a shoot all the congressman who are running around in circles screaming I was pissed off for day's not because all our congressman were dead but we lost a war with italy! worst line in the movie "red dawn"...... "get outta here kid there's a world of hurt coming down!"...geez -
Hell yeah... the thing about asl was it's evolution I see the same thing here the avalon hill magazine "the general" alway's put in a custom scenario with each issue the one i'm looking for is the one outside of moscow in the winter of 41' not real big but interesting the asl series was really cool I still have all the game's but it's such a vast enterprise having every little piece to that big puzzle is asking a lot...cm is the next step in the evolution of asl

whoop's!...9/21 /62 the year of the tiger! maybe that's why i' so preoccupied with dust But if i had my choice, I take the year of the rabbit got alot more pizzazze..but hell these thing's only come aound every 12 year's so 62 74 86 an 98 would be tiger's the rest would be rabbit's bat's monkey's knome's lawn dart's etc...haha

This sure ain't how WW2 was....
Flipper replied to Skorzeny's topic in Combat Mission Archive #2 (2000)
Well you should try the caretan's scenario.. a couple of spottin g round's hit then Wham! 14 inch shell's start hitting within a 100 meter's of of your troop's pak's an inf gun's an truck's yes they were are near by..actually more like 200 meter's but who's quibbling....an all this at night! an all got knocked out with one BLAST!.. all this teaches us is how to be GAMEY WHEN PLAYING THE GERMAN'S.well maybe not but i still love this game what a breathe of freash air! -
Actually I'm more concerned with ammount of dust that accumulate's on the inside of the hatch of a tiger I manufactured in 1942 as opposed to that of the one's built in 1944.
