Voodoo3 on a 7500/g3 300 here. 1.1.2 works fine and looks soooo much better than unaccelerated.
Couple things:
-tracers/gunfire are pretty much invisible now, perhaps they were too visible in unacelerated.
-had some gents hiding behind a stone wall, when I upgraded, the stone wall disappeared!
-rubble does not show
Thanks for your work on this Ray. If you need someone to test your new stuff on a voodoo3, I'd be more than willing.
You've seen my posts on comp.sys.mac.games.stratgic with the txtures getting rendered ats the BT logo and the Go button.

Anybody tried these? They apparently unite the voodoo3/4/5 code. Available thru your 3dfx control panel or: http://166.90.143.12:80/drivers/voodoo5/mac/MacVoodoo1.0.8.sea.hqx
They are not officially supported for the Voodoo3 Mac, but then again, what is?
But most importantly, does the Voodoo3 Rave for CM now work?
Excellent sleuthing, Erik! I did just as you suggested and now can run the demo. Prior, I had exactly the same problems.
7500/300hz G3, 8.6.1, Voodod3 2000, all the latest drivers with the exception of that 3dfx Rave.
