Over at CMHQ there are some movies from the Fionn vs UC Cav. Really interesting battle Anyway, how do I watch these movies?

Have seen there are terrain types available for DL over at CMHQ: low-res versions and 1 hi-res version. How do u define low-/hi-res? 1024=hi-res and lower resoulutions are low-res? If so, are the terrain files better at specific resolutions? ie the resolution they were "designed" in. Im running at 1152res, would it be better for me to to change to 1024?...or whatever the terrain-mod-resolutions are... And where do I change resolution? Does it use same res as my desktop? Got mine copy a few days ago...it was sent on July 10th...but before I got i mailed sales. Emailed sales@ (Steve Grammont) and he replied very quickly and asked me to wait till the weekend and he would send me another copy if it didnt show up. Monday came and nothing... Emailed Grammont again and told him my mailbox was full bills only... Then my CM-copy showed up on Tuesday, so I ran in and notified Grammont about it as he still hadnt read/replied my 2nd mail. Then I got 2 mails on Tuesday. He obviously read the mails after date, so he replied he would send me a copy with Global Priority Mail(thats what I call service ) , still not having read that I got my copy Right after he sent another mail: "HAHA!!! OK, so I just wrote up that other email for nothing? Good! I am now crossing out your address I just wrote down for another copy! Of course, you know it never would have shown up unless you asked for a replacement Have fun!! Steve" That man and that copmpany got service AND humour! Great service TNX! PS! My copy had been to North Ireland (UK) before it came to Norway as it was wrongly tagged to North Ireland...probably something to do with the country code (NOR)...? Rune Haugan

As a Norwegian I remember the Black Brant XII-rocket in 1995(?). There was a lot of writing about it at the time, and Yeltsin was kind of proud that he had "used" the "Atomic-suitcase" (or what its called), and was proud to show that the Russian missile warning system was working... The rocket was launched from a scientific site at Andoya in northern Norway, with a large impact area not far from the North Pole. As the different stages of the rocket were used and released it is belived that they might have looked like several intercontinetal missiles approaching the Cola-peninsula. The Russians had been warned about the missile but obviously the warning had not reached all that should know about it... Personally I dont belive the Russians were close to launching a counter-attack, but mostly wanted to show the world that the Russian Bear was alive . PS! The people at Andoya-rocket-range made some T-shirts with the text:"We almost started WorldWar3" as rememberance of that day .

kb9sog, pics worked for me. Was a bit slow to load though...possible to compress pics even more?

The problem with the fire imho (ie in the demo) is that its 2-dimensianal (length-height)... I know that is a common way to draw things(2dim ) due CPU power---most trees etc in sims other strat-games are 2dim, but with trees it looks ok...not with fires Is it possible to make them 3 dim?

OK ive seen the moderator post a few times... What I would like to see is some official words regarding patches etc. Read at SimHQ that CM was sold out of its first pressing: would be nice to hear from BTS/Battlefront (whatever) if this is true and if it would cause any delay for the ones who are eagerly awaiting the game. There are so many speculations on this board, so a few clarifying words would be nice Look at the "AcesHigh" and "Warbirds" (online sims) where the community is beeing informed frequently regarding updates etc etc. And where is my copy Was charged 10 days ago...still nothing....out of stock? Onother one in the same line... A US airline at a major European airport has just vacated the rwy and checks in with the ground controller: Airline:"XXXX just vacated the rwy" ATC:"XXXX taxi to gate 65c" Airline:"Roger, 65C" A little pause... Airline:"Could you guide us to gate 65c?" ATC:"You have to study your maps Sir!" After a minute the whole taxi-line comes to grinding halt as XXXX stopped on the taxi-way. ATC:"XXXX what are you doing! Why did u stop?" Airline:"Studying my maps, Mam" And where is my CM copy....

Ordered mine a week ago...they were pretty quick to charge the (first) 45$ . Hope to get it within a couple of weeks here in Oslo...or am I dreaming? Sounds like they are having great difficulties with the order system... Did they charge u guys 45$ right away, or do they charge when they are shipping?
