Maybe I am wrong but it seems that when my mortor guys are out of mortor rounds they have no other weapons. Did not the crews have m1 carbines or pistols? From what I read they did. Am I wrong? Just wondering...
Go back I never left. CM is the best computer strategy game out there but I still like SL/ASL. There is nothing like sitting around a table with a friend and playing SL/ASL.
I have a room full of WWII books. Mostly I buy books on small arms of WWII. If anybody knows a good small arms book, I would appreciate it if you would share the name with me. I also collect rifles of WWII. Right now, I have an M1 carbine, Arisaka Type 99 7.7 (with crest still on it), and a No 4 Mk 1 .303. The Garand is my next rifle.
Just a note on the ViperII. I don't have one but one of my friends does. He has had nothing but trouble with their drivers. It’s an alright card but horrid drivers! Maybe someday they will get there drivers right. Now this is just persons take on the card if you want to get the real scoop go to http://www.tomshardware.com. Just a warring...
BTW, It seems to work ok on CM.

The things I would love to see are:
Over-runs, Cavalry, (this might be to much to ask but) captured eq use, spreading fire to other places, 3 (maybe higher?) level buildings, sewers,...
Just putting another voice behind what you guys have already said.
I am getting the 533a celron. Then I will have an 800mhz computer! I will really have a good gaming computer.
Right now, I have a 300a clocked to 450 and a TNT2 ultra. Seems to work great on the demo but there is always room for more speed.

If I were you, I would go TNT2 or Gforce. Voodoo is a joke you will get much better graphic abilities with TNTs. Moreover, you can get them cheaper than voodoo3s. Go to http://www.pricewatch.com.
