The only Small Arms friendly fire incident I remember in CMBO
was during a night battle where two squads were moving toward some treees
one squad firing from slightly behind decimated the other squad
that I thought would be safe

I don't think requesting mods a la carte is an appropiate use of this forum.
Why Not ? We all make this up as we go along anyway

Yes, as you point out the G4 is *not* a replacement for the G3. I find it odd that the BW didn't give it a different designation completely, like G50 or something so it won't get confused with the G3. I mean, what are they going to number the G3 if it is ever upgraded? G5? That's going to get even more confusing!
Not to mention raise the attention of the Apple Computer Legal Dept

Remember, anything developed for CMx2 is available for anything made going forward. We've already announced CM:SF 2 will be released with a temperate environment. Therefore, in a round about sort of way, talking about what might go into CM:Normandy also means what might go into CM:SF 2. SNIP

Great job. I wonder if BF knew a decade passed so quickly without your post?
I really doubt it

Battlefront.com (Steves) profile shows a join date of 02-08-99
Assuming:
A. that Steve was the one who originally set up the forum
(Madmatt & Charles both have join dates months later)
&
B. the forum uses the MM/DD/YY version of dates
Then our very own 2nd home has its 10th Birthday this Sunday
Sometime it seems like some of us have spent the better part of those years
doing nothing but posting here

Methinks someone spent too much time in front of the pc.
Naah He just watched "the Princess Bride" once too often

Charles can't wait to get back to the Mac as his primary development platformOriginally posted by Battlefront.com:MacOS support is most likely going to happen before WW2 is released. Charles has taken a quick look at the code already and feels it won't be terribly hard to port it over. The plan is to start as soon as the Normandy Module has been released </font><blockquote>quote:</font><hr /> I meant we'll start as soon as the Marines Module has been released.
Having said that, the devil is always in the details. It is possible that a major problem will rear its ugly head and push porting to the Mac off until after WW2's initial release. Not desirable, that's for sure, so we hope this won't happen. No reason to think it will either, just making sure you all understand that until we get into things we won't know everything we need to know.
Another aspect of this is if we can support PPC chips. We think G4 and earlier are simply too old to bother supporting. G5 would be good to support, however there's a fairly small number out there and the time to support them may not be worth it. Therefore, it is quite possible that only Intel based Macs will be supported. Again, we won't know until we get into it.

(Can't have a Normandy Module without WWII can we ?)
So I will wager you meant the Marine Module
